All I can say is ..... wow....I had this album when it came out (I was 5) and played it until it wore out. This sure brings back a LOT of memories. Thanks for putting this on here. Donny was my "first love". :)

I read below about including Marie on their first album together - it was actually the one where they sing "I'm Leavin' It All Up To You" and "My Hometown"....Marie took over the high notes because of Donny's changing voice.

This song was on the Osmonds Saturday morning cartoon. His eyes were cartoon crazy huge! I remember watching that episode so well. I got the song on CD from LimeWire. Wish I could find a better clearer version to have for the car.

It has a lot of base and had all the clarity and treble stripped out and sounded

so bland.

I like the LP version better.

He actually began singing with Marie in the middle of an ablum he was making because his woice was changing and he needed her support for the high notes and to give continuity for finishing the album. i can't recall off-hand which album that was though.

I believe it is the album "A Time For Us"

especially in songs like "Guess Who" during the background vocals.

In "Hawaiian Wedding Song", it was towards the end when the line

"I do" comes up.

OH MY, I feel like I'm 11 again! I used to love this song and like Intan60 I still know all the words too. It's from his 1972 album "Too Young". I see several copies (both LP & 45) on ebay as I write this.
