  • Rockin. One of Vincent's best right here.

  • So cool lyrics haha

  • Awesome...the good ol' days......

  • I was born in mid 65 and I remember when their first album came out and our neighbor at the time "God rest his soul" played their first album and others that followed over and over and OVER again and not like I never listened to AC a lot after but the state I lived in for over 30 yrs never played much of Cooper but my dear friend was shocked and amazed that I remembered every word to every song after over 40 yrs ago, It gets in ur blood and there,s no turning back!

  • When I was in high school, and this album was new, you simply couldn't be taken seriously if you didn't know and love it.

  • AWFULL SHIT

  • @thon022 Are you talking about the song?

  • i met alice cooper 4 times saw him in concert 5

  • Where did those30 year's go......

    And how fast...

Still as freash as the first time.

    long live AC

  • @takin8easy Maybe you first heard this 30 years ago, but it came out 41 years ago...

  • "Killer" was my first AC album, given to me at age 13 by my rockin' sister-in-law...Even after all this time, there's still not a song on this album that I can't recite the lyrics of, word by word. Alice Cooper, helping to form chldren's minds for more than 3 decade. AC ROCKS!!!

  • Im 52 and still love some old cooper !!!

  • The story of how I met my wife, written 20 yrs before we met. AC is the man. God bless you Alice!

  • IF "YOU" LOVE ALICE, check out a band named Faithful Pig, on YouTube!! They are NOT wannabees THEY are the REAL THING...VERY TALENTED AND WITTY SONGS, some TOUNGE n' CHEEK (They remind "ME" of Alice's EARLY recordings, and the Singer is INFLUENCED DEEPLY by ALICE..not an imitator..is just "HIS" voice sounds a bit like Alice, but not ONLY the SOUND of his voice, but the FLAVOR and COLOR of his Vocals!!) They have 7 songs posted..I hope you ENJOY them ALL!

  • SORRY, kainhall, FOR REPEATING YOUR COMMENT! (I JUST noticed it!!) Seeing that it has been 10 months ago, I GUESS it couldn't Hurt to let People know, again!!!

  • If you listen , at the ENDING of the song you can "HEAR" Niel's Drumsticks falling THROUGH his Drum Kit!!! Alice and Bob, BOTH told him NOT to twirl his sticks in the STUDIO, ONLY during a SHOW!!! ( It is right after the first "OOOOOOWN!" at the ENDING). I don't KNOW if someone had already posted THIS comment ( I DIDN'T GO THROUGH ALL OF THEM!!) IF SO, sorry to repeat themselves!!!! Heh-heh-heh!!!

  • HAHAHA! Duh! My bad.

  • were not worthy! :> lol

  • One of the best Cooper songs ever. But "Alice" didn't wright it. It was Micheal Bruce. (RIP).

  • @davevacant michael bruce isn't dead , glen buxton is(1997) aged 49.

  • tHIs iS rEALLy gOOd mUSIc!!! tO bAd tHAt tHe mUSIc nOw iS aLl rAp aNd sTUFf. wHy cAN't mUSIc bE lIKe tHIs nOw??? :)

  • @missrocknrolljazz

hOw cAn yOu bE soOOo no-N-ChALanT@ At iMe LikE! THIS @ aT imE liKe ! iN MYLife

  • Yeah, the politico monikered HOF finally saw fit to induct Alice Cooper after a decade of relentless screaming from fans like me, who nearly had to threaten to burn the place down before they did it.

  • This is one song that you know Alcie didn't write the lyrics for - at least not all of them. He doesn't play guitar.

  • How the f..k could ANYONE not like Alice Cooper?!

  • KILLER was definitely his best album!!

  • i went to the concert at DTE on aug 27th, and i was so pissed cause he didnt play this.

  • I've heard all of the renowned versions, and I'll say that this version of "Sweet Jane" is my favorite one.

  • @JohnnyBanco Lou's or Ian's....

  • It's funny; Alice is remembered by most for School's Out, I'm Eighteen, No More Mr. Nice Guy and the Nightmare album, all very good, but for my money, Killer is his best album - BY FAR!!! Every song rocks, but no real big hit on it.

  • Killer's a fuckin' mint album!! I'll be 50 in December, and i still love it : )

  • Alice Rocks....

  • This is how rock should sound :-)

  • @joolz56 This IS HOW Rock sounds, anything else these days are just wannabes!

  • I play this when my wife gets home from University. She looks really hot right now and this song makes her smile....

  • I photographed Alive in 75 and 77. To see the shots go to 70srockphotos (.com)

  • Sweet Jane is that you?

  • * * * * *

  • Listen listen listen to the pitch perfect, raw, state of the art 1970's analog studio production here. Rock recording at it's absolute zenith. The energy just pours out of the speakers. What would happen if a major label rock band DARED to come out with an album that sounded like this now??? Might cause a revolution.........right, kid's?

  • @audiotrax2000 I'm with you brother. This sounds better than anything I'm hearing today. And you're right, the energy sucks you right in. Stripped down and raw, the way it should be.

  • Alice, Iggy, and Joey created the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame. It's a shame that they were robbed so long of their own craftsmanship.

  • got me tickets to see alice in uk NIA in october 2011.

cant fuckin wait ! saw him last in Welcome to my nightmare shows !

best live band/ show ever !

  • alice is the true prince of darkness, way > ozzy

  • @MrFredhuggins198 Alice and Ozzie? Princes of Darkness??? They are an "act" like Vincent Price was an actor. This is theatre and art....just ask their wives. Double for Gene. We are all lucky to have these types of great artists among us. When we actually believe these people are truly like the personalities they act out on stage and album, then they have succeeded in their art. So, I suppose they ARE true Princes of Darkness because they seem SO damn believable. enjoyable. & unforgetable. :)

  • @JEDIALADDIN yea, alice is a really nice, smart guy. i just like his music and act better than ozzy, plus i lost all respect for ozzy when he did a commercial with bieber

  • Listen baby, you just wouldn't understand.

I've used that line real life and believe me, it didn't go over well.

  • 4o\m/

  • detroit city!

  • My girlfriend in 1973 had this album on 8 Track great cruising music. I sure miss her!

  • I miss the 8-track!!!Remember Gail?!(LMAO!)

  • Way better than music now a days

  • hear this song in the grocery store today...it was AWESOME

  • @weevilboy That had to be a rush, especially in a grocery store no less.

  • SHE ASK ME WHY THE SINGERS NAME WAS ALICE

  • I remember the first time I saw Alice Cooper I was around 10 or 11 (born in 1963) and was watching some variety show on tv with my mother (Smothers Brothers or something like as best as I can remember). When they said, "and next up is Alice Copper", and I remember thinking "oh great.. some boring chick with an acoustic gutar", when this freak comes out with a boa playing hard rock... been a fan ever since.

  • I remember tearing the calender part of this LP cover out & putting it on my bedroom wall. '72 Oh Heavenforbid! Was it really that long ago? It seems like yesterday.

  • Too bad that he's a right wing xtian repugnantcan!!!

  • @frederickus could be worse. at least hes not a damn socialist democrat.

  • @damnyancey A socialist, or a Democrat? It can't be both, dummy. The problem with all you knuckle-dragging mouth-breathers is that you don't know the difference between a socialist, a communist, and a fascist, and you use the terms interchangeably as if they all mean the same thing. I ordinarily would be perfectly happy to let your kind simply stupid yourselves to death, but unfortunately you always end up dragging worthwhile people down with you. Well? Socialist, or Democrat? Which one?

  • I loved this album then and I still love it now! I still have my well worn copy with the 1972 calendar inside! ROCK AND ROLL!!!

  • Bogart that joint with those roach clips taken from the doctors office, press those bell bottom levi's and make those creases sharp enough to cut, play the album loud enough to piss your parents off and make them wonder if you are as insane as Alice was protrayed to be, load up the eight track in your rust lead sled cruzing along the back roads with your bong between your legs and wonder today where all the good times have gone!

  • this song is great, alice was better before the original band left

  • yeh detroit!

  • How do write such a great song like this., huh !!!

  • Killer is a great Lp. Go find a copy if you don't have one and enjoy yourself. One of Coppers Best. Right up there with Love It To Death.

  • detroit here too

  • Alice is Great!

  • This is a great band.

  • Always loved Alice Cooper!!

*It's no wonder my parents thought I was "Doing Drugs" in the '70's*

    MadMark

  • I come from Detrit City too!

  • "Magnifying glance"- nice!

  • This song fucking rocks....can't help but to sing with it.

  • Thanks from Scotland.

  • The greatest Alice Cooper song ever IMHO. (Unfinished Sweet is a close second!)

  • memories ... making out

  • alice cooper and humble pie--three rivers stadium, pittsburgh- early 70's--all downed out --damn i am old--good times, good times

  • Alice

  • Alice Rocks!!!

  • Killer was one of the coolest albums ever. Congrats to Alice Cooper for induction into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame

  • @mlott255 I feel you,bro'!One of THE coolest performers.EVER!!!

  • Whoo! Dad used to sing this to me as a kid... "she asked me why the singer's name was Alice... listen baby you really wouldn't understand" haha

  • @MmeLEnfer God, you are lucky! My parents were terrified by my fascination with Alice!

  • @hollywoodartchick There is a bit of a flipside - my dad loves Alice but he still worries when I get into him too much. He thinks I'll go some kind of darkside or something, lol. But he did bring me up on classic rock <3

  • @MmeLEnfer ha ha - I guess Alice would not be any fun if parents were'nt a little scared of him.

  • i remember the 8 track my brother wrote gibbled on it.

had to buy a new one lmao

  • The click sound at 3:03 is Neal dropping his sticks.many drummers who cover the song try to imitate the sound not knowing it was an accident lol!

  • I love Alice Cooper. But I only love the studio versions of anything I've seen on Youtube. The live versions seem to suck.

  • I still know all the words from when I was a kid love love love alice

  • I love it, but it is a very blatant Sweet Jane "borrow" on the verses. Great guitar work. Good lyrics and singing, too.

  • "Killer" was one of the coolest album covers ever!
