Just like to say you can use the madhopper with a DHC trick too. Then you could raw tag and your options are limited due to hit stun detioration but you can do another hyper. I got this idea from 1 of Caj13's combo videos.

@DraciosV Definitely, but a DHC trick knockdown isn't available to all teams. I'm thinking about doing a video for either Mad Hopper in general (it can do alot of neat stuff), or uses for the DHC glitch Spinning knockdown. Maybe both. But I will check Caj13 for inspiration.

@AleXCD74 I guess, but the total number of hits here is very low. With Frank you'd be better off doing lock and load and then DCHing into the rush super. It should wiff and then you can photograph the opponent during the big spinning knockdown before the now nonexistant energy ball hits them.

I love seeing stuff on Rocket Raccoon. He's become my signature character, and not a whole lot of people give him the time of day so I'm pretty much in the dark with 'Coon-Tech for the most part.

What's this "recording delay" problem you're having? Are you using an HD PVR without an HDMI splitter, and playing off a PC display or something? That'd have massive delay. I'd highly suggest a Console HDMI Splitter HDMIx2 PVR + Display setup, to fix it.

@ProzacStylings It's because of how I have to hook my capture card up via a series of splitters, and the fact that I have to toggle the Xbox's output. The whole thing gives me a few frames of delay, which is normally fine, but not for the boulder loop...

If I had PVR that would make things better, but alas, I am poverty status.

awesome work man, I'll have to try this out as I feel I need all the help I can get running a team of him, Firebrand and Feli all really low health characters so I feel when I'm fighting I'm balancing on a blade as one solid combo could probably kill, or near enough, anyone of them

i was thinking about running RR in my frank/doom team but im not sure if he would fit well. this video seems like it might work out to lv frank up, and with Doom's Y assist (shield) teleporting would be "safer"...but thanks for the vid, you gave me more stuff to play with that might make me stick to da Coon.

BTW, if you can explore snapbacks as a mean to stop a hyper, I guess you're in for a surprise. I was just now able to punish Taskmaster's Arrows Hyper after the super flash, no buffered inputs, at point-blank range wit Chun-Li.

I'm pretty sure someone did this kind of exploration on Vanilla, as I'm sure I seen something about it, but the more people know about it, the better.

Cool stuff. I had actually tried doing this a while ago, just without the log trap, but I couldn't get it down consistently so I wrote it off. Nice to know there's a way to at least make it work.

@Bmeister42 Actually, Ammy is one of the better characters to do this with because her 6C string in glaive basically ignores HSD. And since you then have access to both your assists you can probably do a full set of Glaive loops.

@Bmeister42 Yeah there should be. I mean, I have enough time to start up crap like a Heavy Repulsar Blast and Dante's j236C so i figured the weapon swap would be easy. I haven't really tried it, I didn't want to reveal how little I know about Ammy... lol.

nice to see a good rr. i personally am looking to play some characters who are considered "bad" by the fgc, so i was going to ask do you feel that rr is a good character who is getting a bad reputation, or is he actually terrible (so far im considering thor, spiderman, morrigan, and jill. Also to all the people asking him to make tech for u to use with ur characters, man up and make some urself nobody gave this guy his tech he sat down and figured it out for himself just like u should

@sk8r129103 RR is an average character with alot of potential. He's a character of high highs and low lows.

I'm working my hardest to unlock that potential, but I'm not really there yet. I've got more stuff in the future to share though that's much dirtier.

I really need to hit the lab more with the raccoon. I need to show people why they need a raccoon! And question: Do you thing RR has good synergy with Viper & Spider-Man? They're all characters I'm cruddy with, so I'm unsure how well they'll actually meld.

@KageHiRyu Nope, practically no synergy at all. Coon/Viper does okay, but You don't get much the other way around.

It's too bad that everyone views Rocket Raccoon as a tech demo/combo video character instead of a character that can be used competitively. I never see the character used either offline or online.

@illDiology That's because he's probably the most technical character in the game. Also, he's got some big holes in his game.

@jhvidst2 Why is it that people love to say things like "he's got some big holes in his game" without explaining what those holes are? He's a character with a nearly invisible teleport and meter neutral touch of death combos, what's his problem? Does he have a huge execution barrier or something?

@Alucula His normals are bad, he has abare issues, his teleport is bad, rockets skates are situational, he has no Anti-airs, he has no air-to-air, his zoning his bad. It's quite a list, but you can supplement most of that with good team composition and take advantage of the things he excels at. Given how good he is at those things, it can definitely be worth it.
