My far too expensive MacBook Pro just had the hard drive replaced because it failed, keyboard backlight doesn't work, built-in webcam isn't detected at all, light sensor for auto screen brightness isn't detected, wifi isn't detected... a clean copy of Snow Leopard didn't fix it as the hardware apparently stopped existing. My $300 ASUS EeePC works fine. Yep.
