Why oh why do they cancel shows like this and keep shows like royal pains. My only problem is Jeffrey can't be on two shows at once ( love Burn notice) but I wish this had at least gone for more than one season
God why o why do they cancel shows like this and keep shows like royal pains. My only problem would be Jeffrey can't be on two shows at once but I wish this show had gone for at least longer than 1 season.
Watching the series for the first time. Can I just say that I'm glad that both Jeffrey Donovan and Vera Farmiga are still doing good. I watched Vera in "UC: Undercover" and still watching Jeff in "Burn Notice". Although this was a damn good series, we still got them on our screens don't we? I wonder if Vera will do an episode of BN. That would be awesome!
ditto on that--of course, the fact that every week they seemed to swap what night of the week it was going to play on didn't help--how're people who wanna watch supposed to be able to? no wonder the ratings would've gone down! duh, FOX! grr...

Looks great, great music, but oh! What terrible script writing! If beating one's head against the wall was the only way to make it stop, yes! I would gladly beat my head against the wall.
I can also see why people didn't catch on. Slow folks. But I loved this show after following Jeffrey Donovan's IMDB page. it's a shame this show ended but at least USA stuck with Jeff.
It had these beautiful openings, and these gorgeous endings (like this one) along with the best casting and music in television.
But at its core, it's a British drama. The pacing, the story structure is all British. That takes some getting used to for U.S. audience. There will always be people on this side of the pond that will like Marmite on their toast, but we are a dramatic minority. Clearly not enough to justify marketing of the stuff.
I'm American and all I practically do is watch British drama. American TV sucks. And the only good shows (like this one) get cancled, despite doing pretty good with ratings. =/
Music for this show was done by Atticus Ross, Claudia Sarne, Leo Ross and was one of the best soundtracks I have heard for anything in a long time!!! Atticus is highly instrumental in NIN projects and all the members I listed were part of their own band called 12 Rounds. Look it up..very worth it.
god i loved this show...still pissed it's gone! creegan and branca were awesome together! wish it could've lasted...looking forward to burn notice though....and jeffrey was cool in hitch...and vera was good in the departed...at least both of their careers are blossoming...wish they'd work together again ho...anyways...bruce willis had a good thing going with that show...maybe it should've been on a larger network or had a better air time-slot...anyways i'm babbling...love ya's all! :D
What i always loved about this show, and this scene is a perfect example, is thay you could really tell that they had a really good time making it, they're obviously friends off camera and that. This show was amazing and i miss it =(
They should make it again if only to get Kevin Duran and Jeffrey Donovan together on screen.I love em both.
I agree one-thousand percent, it's like you and I had the same exact thought -- you're not from Alpha Nine too, are you? Kidding, kidding, but yeah, I agree with the music fitting the show so well. ^^
the music was done by charlie clouser wasn't it??? or chris vrenna....both were ex-nine inch nails members...i remember the first episode had 2 nine inch nails songs in it, A Warm Place at the very start and The Day The World Went Away(still) at the very end

I'm American, and I liked it a lot. It probably was too deep a show for the shallow-minded reality tv loving masses. I hate those kinds of masses.
