  • Thank you for your help, Wendy! Did you mention that you have additional information in a booklet form?

  • Hi Wendy! Love your system - where can I get more info about your system? Thanks for all the information!

  • The Banana Seal keeps even Brown Sugar nice and fresh - right in the bag that it comes in. Check it out at the website - SaveTheBananaSeal

  • I disagree with her comments about 'becoming the guy with the gun'. It implies that having a gun will suddenly change my value system. "Thou shalt not steal." Is that a commandment upon which my salvation is dependent or not? "Thou shalt not kill." If my family was starving, and I found a place where there was food, I would NOT steal it. I would CERTAINLY beg for it. I would WORK my hands raw for it. Guns do not corrupt. They are only an object.

  • Got to watch in 240p or the sound does not work....

  • Looking forward to seeing you in Queen Creek this Thursday.

  • we already know this stuff, because any bible reader knows about the wisdom from the ant, and many other places in the bible, so this we already know. we just need to know maybe how to do it better, cheaper, and more efficient. if a person doesnt prepare he is a fool building on a sand foundation ready to be swept away.

  • @Iemota21 Sounds like a typical liberal strategy: Silence free speech. "...stop her now." And while you're at it, fire her from NPR

  • @Iemota21 "oow, Oow, Help us from this evil, evil woman!! zgeesh, get a life!

BTW how is that whole economy and food prices going for you?

  • @savgal1211 Hah ha!! How are you digging RAPIDLY inflating food prices?? Hah!

  • @Iemota21 Well, hopefully we wont see a calamity in the near future, if you're lucky you might have time to learn spelling and grammar. : )

  • @Iemota21 you will need fruits and vegetables. those have vitamins and minerals. no she doesn't want the world to end. she even states that in part 3.

  • @Iemota21 Do your research, most food storage calculators state a person, 1 person., needs 300 LBS!! 300! Of grains a year, you are dead wrong! This includes pastas and cereals and breads, guess what? You can't store ceral and flour for more than 6 months, flour gies rancid! I have whole grains and plan to get more, I am NOT Mormon, BTW

  • @savgal1211 that's not true. flower can store for up to 2 years if stored properly. if you store it in paper bags on a shelf you are wasting your time and resources

  • @bxxj Yes, if you do the mylar bags and remove o2. However, I now have 350- lbs of wheat berries, they NEVER go bad, fwiw, I do store flour for my 1 yr use.. I have 2 yrs of food stores. I pressure canned a yr worth of meat, too

  • Fantastic. We have a very small income, some months are so difficult. We have a years worth of food. Its not hard, and its not expensive. Just get stuff you usually use for meals and rotate it all.

  • 1 Thes. 5 instructs us to be aware of the times and seasons. Mathew 25 teaches us to be prepared. I am not a Mormon, but I believe we should all be prepared for MANY possibilities - hurricanes, earthquakes, floods. And teaching our children to be prepared is NOT the same as instilling them with fear. In fact, just the opposite. They grow up learning to be secure in knowing they ARE prepared. And sharing with others, of course we will, but the more others prepare, the more we will all have.

  • ...while your neighbor digs for inch worms ?

    Good luck

  • Is it also important to teach your children to live in fear ? You'll screw them up for life if they grow up seeing you prepare for the end of the world , don't you think ?

You are selling and promoting FEAR , not food savers , I hope you're not making a dime out of these seminars , because that would be really wrong .

I wonder what food saver Moses used that kept beans fresh for 40 years , must have been a good one .

Also , you think you can enjoy your fresh tacos and your chocolate chips whil

  • @panadevulpe If you think this is a bad idea, then stop watching these videos and stop posting to them...why would you waste your time. You're certianly not going to change anybody's mind here. They are all here because they beleive in the same thing.

  • @panadevulpe in moses' time they would have dehydrated food because that's what was available to them. just like walking, chariots and camel riding were the main transportation of the day then...today we drive, fly, and boat to where ever we need to go. point being...times change...so does technology. planning ahead to avoid starvation is not a bad thing.

  • tjttzcspplt

They do. On another thought...This entire series is about taking care of yourself & family. Your comment was spoken like a true liberal..somebody give me something. Well she is giving you something. She's sharing her hard learned experience on how to take care of you & family.

  • @Jwill781 I am no liberal. I jus believe that charity should be extended to all, not just members of my club.

  • If only you extended your charity to non-members. Then you'd really be doing something.

  • @tjttzcspplt give a man a fish he eats for a day. teach a man to fish he eats for a lifetime. what they do is teach you to fish. you actually have to do the fishing.

also, as a non-mormon, i don't think this is charity. this is part of their teachings. charity is giving foods to the food banks. this is more than that.

  • @tjttzcspplt EXTEND our charity to NON-Members ???? We can't even get members to get with the biblical instructions to have a year's supply of food on hand. However, if you are willing to work in my garden, I will share some of the food with you. Are you willing to work for some food?

  • @johnny102marvin Nice dodge. Where in the Bible does it say to have a year's supply of food on hand? The Bible says that the mercy we show will be shown to us. It demonstrates sacrificial love and encourages us to lay down our lives for each other. I think your system's priorities are out of whack. I will have a garden, and I will share it with whoever the Spirit inspires me to, and if we die, we die together, though I doubt God will allow such a thing.

  • Grew up on a tropical island that had hurricanes and have ALWAYS stored food. A crisis can be having the flu and you're single or a hurricane and no help for six months or getting laid off for a year. Thanks for your video! An emergency is an emergency!

  • I feel :(

  • 37361811 makes a point! Read the Bible!!! What makes you think that the Goverment or Dictatorship will allow you to stay in your homes and use your convieniences like electricity/water!....Im not saying its not a good idea to dehydrate and store some foods, but still you never know when you will have to leave your homes to take refuge somewhere else! God gives us wisdom..and I know also that He gives us Faith, too!...!

  • I am not LDS, but we other survivalists ( Non Mormons ) have cache of food and supplies located in other areas besides our home.

  • @KatNip2007 The storage plan includes storing water (in barrels, 3 Ltr. soda bottles, whatever), the means to purify water (katadyn filter and iodine tablets are my choices), and finally: some sort of camping stove (s) (I have multiple stoves that use different fuels) and a storage of fuels. Hope this helps!

  • Then you would be loving your child more than you love God! God said that you are not to have any other Gods before him!

  • @KatNip2007 You are right! But don't think your heart and emotions wouldn't get the better of you when it comes to your kids or someone else you love!

  • @hrdknox2000 God is a good God and He will provide for those that believe Him! We must love Him more than our own lives more than our famiilies or any material things! We find reference to these things in the Word of God!

  • the only way some one will rob you of your food when an emergency hits is if you brag about how much food you have. having a food storage system should just be a part of your life. It is easier to make meals and bake when you have the food in your house. Just think toliet paper.

  • HE MURMURED AGAINST GOD.

  • I have a question! Jesus said not to take any thought of what your gonna eat or clothes your gonna wear, that the Father knowes we have need of these things. He feeds the birds and we are more important than the birds.

  • All i can offer you is my understanding of that scripture. I understand, 'not to take any thought of" to mean, "not to fret about or overly worry about unnessicarily." There are many phases in the scriptures that do not translate as well as I would like! Hence the purpose for Study! It is obvious to me that we have been commanded to prepare. As we follow this counsel, which has been given to us from God, it will put us in that place were we will not fret or worry..because we have been obedient

  • Thanks for exsplaining! That was helpful.

  • @37361811 Amen! The Word of God is still true and He changes not!

  • I follow several excellent food storage channels on YT, but Ms. DeWitt's presentation is THE best series to learn about food storage.

Each segment can be sent by link to friends and associates based on subject -- no need to wade through a lecture.

Great presentation, concise practical and spiritual points, and the humor lightens things up. Thank you!

  • WHICH OTHERS do you subscribe to?

  • Everydayfoodstorage and delta69alpha are also favorites. Each is excellent for the aspects of preparedness they focus on.

  • This is what I've been looking for, thank you!!!

  • Great video! Skip to Part 3 for the real description of the system.

  • Very good video!

  • What do you do with Jesus saying, "take no thought for your life, what you shall eat, or what you shall drink, or yet your body, what you shall put on?

  • 1Kings 17:12 There was a widow Elijah went to who had the last of the little bit of food she had to prepare for her and her son so they might eat and die.

I dont see that godly woman ready to kill anyone for food, but rather shared what little she had with Elijah. Not kill him lol

  • So helpful and smart! Thanks for saving me HOURS in organizing my emergency food storage. I downloaded "The System" from your blog and am implementing your suggestions. Am also getting a Solar Oven, Pressure Canner and Food Grinder/Mill. Sending this UTube link to my friends and family. Wish I'd found this a month ago. The Meal card idea would have saved me a lot of money. THANK YOU WENDY!

  • I just going the LDS. I can't wait to get a years supply of food.

  • As a non LDS member, i have always respected the churches view of self reliance and non govt handout. As well as monday night family night. Thank you so much for sharing. God Bless

  • Thank-you so much for these videos! My Mom and I watched them together and it has inspired us to save food and even go to church. God bless to you and your family!!

  • The information in these videos are priceless. AWESOME! thanks for putting these on Youtube. Please have someone make them professionally with good sound and editing. They can save thousands from starvation.

  • lousy sound but good message

  • You mentioned that the Churches storage could only feed 4% of the Church members....Where did you get that figure? :)

  • You'll need to ask Wendy directly, you can email her from her blog. It's listed in the info section above.
