i think it was caique showed us to do the kneeing choke from the triangle, it works when the arm is straight and the attacker is trying to bring the arm across. know what im talking about tim?
I'll actually try and roll them onto their belly and try to pry away their legs with my arms while bridging with my back...it's a rather high percent escape.
When it is fully on... though I think I say in the vid that it is the 'last ditch effort' and will NOT work every time! Be cautious and tap if necessary, but drill it and see if it works for you. Many of my students have used it successfully. Be sure to push your shoulder forward.

Great video, do you happen to have a escape when the triangle is on fully tight and with no-gi?
Its my main problem at the moment.

The third one will work.

O yeah.. I totally missed that one. Although, can that one be done if the triangle is on? or is it when its nearly on.

Let me know if it works for you!

It will work when its fully on, but with no gi and a swept up its hard to stop them from sliding. Which makes it a bit harder but it still works.

You can never have too many triangle escape options. Great explanations of your technique! I enjoyed your head/arm triangle escape video too.
