I read the book "Indeh" by Eve Ball quite awhile back.It was the biography of Goyathlay ( Geronimo) as told by his nephew Asa Daklugie. He told Geronimo's story, but, he also told of his people's story and a point of view regarding Spirit. Most poignant was the name of the book "Indeh". It means the walking dead. That's what their conquerors were and what they induced in others.
