the screen on 1st gen can be scratched, the 2nd gen can not be scratched, and if you have scratched it then you must of put it in a blender or somethin. 2nd gen ftw! 32 gig, 12 seasons of southpark and 7 manchester united soccer games at 90mins long on my itouch.

iTouch is cheaper, slimmer and you the battery lasts me for about 10 hours listening to it, non stop in school.

iPhone is said to last 3 hours. Why? because it is said that you can NOT turn off WiFi on the iPhone and uses alot of battery, more expensive and it only has a 1.3 mega pixel camera??? lawl.

no it doesnt mean everywhere, the iphone uses the phone provider to get an internet signal wherever you are...the itouch uses wifi....i never have a prob finding wifi tho...plus the itouch is thinner and cheaper than the iphone, plus if it is my phone too its gonna get scratched up fast! im happy with the ipod touch

Yes, since the iphone service is sooooo expensive. It is like the Iphone without the phone. I enjoy sports and have an apps that updates scores every 30 secs. I also check whats playing at the local theater with movie trailers. At $229.00 it replaced my PalmPilot.
