Even if the video does not show it, the No Dams protests were one of the most inspiring successes of our young colonized history.

There is much to be learnt, as the area is now booming with tourism and wonder, whereas it could be just another souless, lifeless wasteland. What would you prefer?

Look, these protestors are obviously gallant warriors, but seriously, the bemused face at 8.55 speaks volumes - their songs are horrible. It's almost as though it took 14 years for the more intolerable caterwaulings of Woodstock to finally filter down to Tasmania's longhairs. Great for the environment, shit for music.
