  • This looks like a great movement for training punching power. You are creating power at the hips and legs and driving through to the end of the arm.

  • Are there any advantages to combining movements like this aside from time management?

  • @hkweasel Huge advantages, incresed O2 consumption for a start, meaning a bigger calorie burn and better conditioning. A better level of proprioception, leading to better control of the body. It's also a lot more functional in that we don't just move our body in single planes of movement during daly activities.

    I train a lot of my clients this way and they get stronger, quicker and drop weight faster.
