@georgeisupset For starters try some real music- Elvis, Beatles, Stones. THen move up to some Classic Rock. You see that's all real music. You can hear the words, understand the music and there is little distortion. Plus not a lot of high pitched screaming about death and suicide. I like that when my music is without that. Don't you?

In fact, just about everything produced in the last 30+ years has used computers in the production and mastering of recorded music. I'm a metal fan, but I find it amusing that the notion of someone playing a traditional-style instrument making them a "real musician" moreso than a craftsman who uses something non-traditional as, say, A COMPUTER.

The medium may be different, but the principle of writing and performing something you are passionate about is the same. I also know plenty of guys who can play circles around anyone else, but are completely lost when it comes to audio production.
