  • i want to ask something! i want to buy a Pickap for scratching, i found a good picap and a mixer! what other i need so i can start practising ? how can i hear the sound i make from it? do we need stereo? or we can just put our headphones(AUX) and hear what we are scratching?

  • @goufist3r you'll need a scratch sample on vinyl or digital version. You'll be able to find beats online to practice to but the best place to learn is from youtube. Regarding your question about hearing it through a stereo or not, if you want to have external speakers to hear what you are doing you'll need some sort of amp/stereo. You can practice solely in the headphones, which I do recommend, but yes you can plug the red/white connections into an AUX to hear that way

  • Nice morning!;-))

  • Yo man how long did it take you to be able to transition from lefty to righty?

    P.s. Mad props!

  • @xposeb I'm still learning! I'll always try to get better and learn something new...It is really hard to crab with your left hand when your naturally right-handed. Manipulating a vinyl with your left hand when you are used to it on your right was CONFUSING! If a dj is versatile with both hands I think it is respected more. I don't know..its personal preference. THanks for watching and commenting..hit me up on modern warfare I saw your vids. "jxadams" or my other account is "purtoker"

  • @Mattecarshop its called whats the difference by dr dre, eminem, and xzibit

  • @kramed24 Thanks!

  • @Mattecarshop Dr. Dre -"What's the difference"

  • ahhhhhh glad to see a TORQ warrior at its best

  • respect man !

  • @joebarbaro3 thanks

  • season change! things rearrange!

  • the white DJ Premier! :)

  • this guy is pretty legit

  • What's the first beat?

  • what records are those? they are pretty cool

  • @TomBone2012 its a program called Torq. It takes a digital music file and creates a waveform. THe viynls used are basically there to control the speed of the track. Its like being able to use any music file as a "real" vinyl.

  • @kramed24 oh can you get it for free or do you pay?

  • nice

  • love the beat- cunninlynguists... and me too ive been tryin to scratch with both hands... very very tough. keep at it tho your gettin there

  • The first beat nd scratches sounded like DJ Premier, it was fuckin amazing

  • tu gère vraiment mec ;)

  • what mixer do you use??

  • @voskospedo in this video its the vestax pmc 05 pro3. I do have a numark dxm09 but I primarily use the numark for mixing, I use the vestax for scratching and fooling around. The eq bands on the vestax blow! I know the brand new pmcpro4 is coming out soon which should have the best of both worlds.

  • @kramed24 aham .. and what program did you use? virtual dj?

  • @kramed24 aham nice.. one more.. what vinyl controls do you use??

  • what's the second Beat?

  • @CJ00014 whats the difference - dre, eminem, and xzibit

  • im confused as to where you are... white room, red couch?

  • Whats the beat at from like 1:29 till 1:55

  • Steady Pimp'in lol good job dude :)

  • what is your intro´ name?

  • @JesulitoNoise seasons by cunninlynguists

  • i hear ya wen im on the opposite regular style feels good but wen i do it in hamster is a totally differnce cause im right handed so the fader i could get it moving but my left hand of the record is maddddddd weak but its good to practice tho GOOD kuts btw

  • Man I have to say : there are a couple of minor mistakes in there, but I don't give a shit !! Your inventive ways of skratching are just awesome !! I've been skracthing for 12 years already and I realise the most difficult part is not to manage the skratches ( except learning to skratch with both hands is extremely difficult) but to be inventive; and that is what u do perfectly !! keep up the job man !! respect !

  • @S0171238 wooow...thank you man! I WAS having a crappy day, but with a comment like that I don't see how I could. Yeah i agree, when I made this video I was just starting to learn how to scratch. I've come a looooong way since then! I will always make minor mistakes, but overall my record control has gotten a lot sharper. I just put out a video the other day, check it out! Do you or anyone else like breakbeats!?

  • @kramed24 Yes I love the breakbeats ! I have alot of breakbeat records !! If u want some advice on good breakbeats, I'm always happy to help. My favourite ones or the records from mixmaster mike ! Enjoy the skratching ! p.s. : I just found a great skratch vid of dj kentaro, I don't know if u know him, but his skratching is completely wicked !!

  • @S0171238 IF YOU LIKE BREAKBEATS... soundcloud.c om/dave_k ...i also recorded a 10 min breaks video which is up on my youtube profile. Thank you again for watching the videos and commenting.

  • cool

  • good job

  • thanks!

  • I think its M-Audio Torq!!

Very nice remix and good Scratch-Skillz.

I like it! You should use Serato. Its more accurate than Torq!

  • what softward do you use?

  • @antorider7200 i started using/learning with M-Audio's Torq, I also had a small collection of vinyl which I have slowly accumulated. Currently I am using the latest version of Serato's Scratch live. Both are great programs but hands down, serato on my macbookpro runs flawlessly!! Thanks for watching the videos

  • yeah seasons of hip hop badd jam. keep practicing man you'll get it! practice makes progress

  • Ha YEAH Very GOOD

  • Very very nice mix!

I just don't like when the scratch is practiced on a voice because we can't focus on the lyrices (even if i can't understand ;)

    PEACE

  • shit

  • What is the 1st instrumental ? I don't remember the name...plz help me

  • @BusinessSiciliano54 Cunninlynguists - Seasons

  • ok thanks man

  • awesome mate.

  • really good in the beginning, a little off in the end. but you got 5 stars :)

  • nice man very nice

  • this is the best scratch i've ever seen...please bow down

  • where i can download this samples..? (aww yeah) xD

  • @xanty94 Just search "hee haw" or "superseal", some torrent sites will pop up. Yeah, yeah, sue me, hes not paying for them. He's probably a young kid who doesn't know the first thing about Vinyl OR Digital Djing.

  • great work

  • Dr.Dre What the difference LOL

  • i know that first beat.... cunnin and masta ace think, right? seasons or somethin....

  • thats cool man, i wanna get into this but too expensive

  • Its not, just dont get the technic's or the vestax, for beginners go with stanton t62 and a decent mixer

  • Very nice!

  • what's the second instrumental..?...please...

  • x to the z...xzibit and dre. The track is called, whats the difference. Its off the cronic 2000 album.

  • thnx man

  • a bank account and two vehicles...

  • if your right handed scratcher (me) its hard with the left eh? lol :) smooth goin tho :-) That a Vestax mixer? if the cut off switch, straight up of at an angle? (gonna buy the VMC 002)

  • haha..yeah i'm right handed. I have been trying to practice with both hands, be a little versatile when mixing tracks and using scratchs. If you want to get into turntablism..DO YOUR RESEARCH first! This is most important. Know what you want to do and then search for the right equipment. Start with craigslist first, guitar center is a good start but a bit pricey. Lastly you need patience and practice...lots of it. To learn technique and tricks...search YouTube :) Its how I learned :) Good luck.

  • I like it!

  • not bad how long have you been djing?

  • about 12 months

  • what is the 1st beat?

  • Cunninlynguists - Seasons (Instrumental)

  • in this video i'm using a vestax pmc05-III. I recently bought a new fader for this mixer, called the innofader. Its great so far.

  • What is your mixer ???
