U cannot apply a W.A lens before activating converter options. U have 2 turn on either 2 converter options in your camera 1st ( before applying ur W.A lens ) The 1 option can be found by clicking up on the left knob on ur lcd screen, click up 3/4 times, 2 where it says 1.7 ( enable on ). Also in the black menu screen theres a 2nd (converter on option) as well find & activate on. Just try 1 not both, before apllying your lens !! I do pro short films with this camera, this is the correct way..

@DionNL95 Yes, you can use any 58mm threaded lens on that sucker.

@Darnokg I wouldn't recommend it any 58 mm size lens without checking it first-I have a cheap Zeikos wide angle lens that's 58 mm, and there's vignetting from the casing on my HF S21, so it's pretty useless.
