@omalleydp1 if what you say is accurate, then I saw this exact show. I always had remembered it as around November 68, but maybe it was January, two months later. I was really into their music, as i was in a band that played their tunes at the time. I remember looking out in the Garden and seeing 2 out of 3 in the audience were female. Guess that makes sense. Morrison had that appeal. The concert was outstanding, so that was before Morrison started to crash. Ray Manzarek was great, Robby too.

I had purchased tickets in the nosebleed section of MSG, but I moved down to the front before the Doors took the stage. While watching the show, I began talking with a good looking girl whose name was Pamela. A few years later, after Morrison died, I recognized her picture. The young woman I had been talking with was Jim's girlfriend.

I was there. It's puzzling, if you look at Kreiger in the beginning it appears his hands are not on the guitar while some of the flamenco guitar is playing. Perhaps they had a tape loop. This is something I remember the Who starting, a little later. On this night, the Doors were accompanied by an orchestra which they used for their opening number, Touch Me.
