@lindh76m you better stop looking now or you wanna see goldberg or sid tap out of a loose cena sissy "hold" like they made benoit do it in a short match or a light throw "attitute repairment" lol
Sid !!! We miss you. Thank you for all the years of entertainment. I know you played the bad guy most of your life but we know you are great person. There will only be on Sid !!!!! :-) And no other.
it's hard for him to distinguish if the powerbomb is a submission hold cause when he holds his opponents head in between his legs and then pulls them up most of them yell and tap i am sure cause they know they will get broken in half. any volunteers?
Sid looking for a shot again. Why the hell wouldnt you pick him up? These old guys still have more talent then all these new guys in wrestling today! ...
@jeffasel idk man, sid had a lot of character, and he's a big azz dood..but i was always bored with his performance in the ring..are there any cool sid matches you could recommend?
@CaptainHowdy187 sid choked slammed benoit through the ropes, he also picked benoit up over his head and then dead dropped him..sid got bloody and was nonfunctional against goldberg..not bad
@Necrocide187 Sids too old and broken down to make a wwe or tna comeback. hes gotta be in his 50's by know and hes been inactive for yrs. so no chance.
@YWCAddict84 : You do realize the TNA has people 10 years older than him wrestling for them right? And he hasn't been inactive. He just hasn't been on television. Sid has done a lot of work on the independent scene in the last 5 years. There reason he isn't in WWE is because he has heat with John Laurenitis (whom was the guy that booked that stupid spot in which broke his leg.) As far as TNA goes, he probably just doesn't want to go there.
@D2Kprime heat or not. i dont think wwe would give him the push he wants let alone sign him for the ridiculous amount he would probably ask for. Any smart major organization would pass on a guy like sid. hes too much of a risk at this stage in his life to give any type of push to. maybe sign him to a legend contract.
@YWCAddict84 : Sid doesn't NEED their money. He is one of the few wrestlers that actually invested properly and saved his money. At this stage in his career he picks and chooses what he wants to do because he can where as most guys from his era have work the independent circuit because they are broke or near broke. Sid botching his lines would be more entertaining the half the stuff they put on nowadays.
Cont: Not only that, Vince considers wrestlers 'independent contractors' whom are fully responsible for their physical well-being. Sure they have the Wellness Policy and access to the best surgeons and doctors, but if someone gets hurt in the ring Vince is not liable. That's the downfall to contract labor. You can negotiate your own price, but if something happens to you on the job you are on your own.
Finish: That being said, WWE would not be 'taking a chance' by bringing Sid back because if he breaks his leg again it's on HIM, not them. There are people whom have had for more serious injuries that have come back (Austin, HBK, Edge, etc.) Sid's health is fine. He's probably in better shape than some of the guys on the roster. He's certainly in better shape that Nash was, and Mick Foley is. Trust me, the fly-in-the-ointment to Sid coming back in John Laurinaitis. That is all.
@D2Kprime the taking a chance comment was only if wwe/tna gives him a huge push. if he comes in a is used as a guy who puts guys over they sure wwe/tna are not risking much if he gets injured. if all the things u are saying are true then he doesent need to come back to wwe or tna and risk injury. his best yrs are behind him and he should enjoy his semi retirement or whatever u wanna call it.
Man would love to see them bring him back as a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble next year like they did with Booker and Nash this past year that'd be awesome to see!
Unless you see Sid in person you have no idea how big he is,working for the Spectrum for 25 years I got to know him backstage,he is a great guy to.Just a massive guy who might have been stiff in the ring but a great body in the ring,God love you Sid,and thanks for being my friend in the Spectrum.
@rockytheyorky Having to come across as the monster heel that he was in the late 80s/early 90s NWA/WCW and then as Sycho Sid later on in the WWF (as well as his stint as Sid Justice), he had to be a little stiff to come off as credible. Destroying countless jobbers helped, but destroying established stars worked as well. He worked great as the monster heel. Even Arn Anderson gave Sid props saying "this is what a pro wrestler should look like." Complete intimidation. Perfect monster heel!
Yea I agree and its something I wish some heels would use more today. Sid had great charisma in the ring and in his promos as well he was by far one of the better big mans in wrestling.
Well, good for Sid. He was never one of my favorites, but he's been taking care of himself and hasn't turned out to be some giant drug addict douchebag. Kudos.
@BishopCR7 :"...this old guy..."!?!? That's Bill Apter, you clueless putz!! He's been in the biz for over 30 years!! He was the editor of dozens of wrestling mags, including PWI!!! Jesus, get a clue!!
@BishopCR7 obviously he does that to end the interview on a good note. If you'll notice, he asks the hard hitting questions from the beginning through the middle and then he closes the interview with something funny or light hearted.
I have to say Sid Vicious is one of the kindest persons I have ever met..He deserves a 2nd chance..His leg is 100% and he is still in A-1 shape..This is a quality person... He deserves to not only be Wrestling but also in the WWE Hall of Fame..
