  • who's the lighter colored one that kept coming over to visit? amazing how the baby knows immediately who mommy is.

  • the tune is an old Presbyterian Christmas hymn called "Child in a Manger"we sang it in Sunday school every Christmas, no matter who sings or plays it, it's still a lovely melodie and very appropriate for this video thanks a lot for posting this, these horses are Spectacular

  • beautiful video , gorgeouse mother with her new adorable baby. what is the song in this?

  • the song is "morning has broken", recorded by cat stevens originally.

    so peacefull

  • strange question can horses have twins?O.O beautiful horses btw

  • yeah they can have twins but it is very rare and usually only one survives as one can be bigger than the other at birth but there are healthy twin horses trotting around the world somewhere

  • what

  • that video captured it all...:-) Loved the way the horses came over to check out the new arrival...and Mom let them check her baby...so sweet...you did a good job capturing the time right after birth...

  • Beautiful -- and perfect music.

  • aww,

    i absolutely love this :]

    belgians are so laid back,

    yours is oddly gorgeous,

    with perfect confirmation!

    Congrats with your foal,

post future vids of him/her :]

  • This would have been better if it were a video and not a bunch of photos taken at roughly the same time. Love the horses though! Si cute!

  • How cute!! That looks good that the foal's already being integrated into the herd. That's how horses have always functioned, even before birthing stalls!

Gawd, this is just so adorable!!!!

  • that is one stunning mare

if she hadnt just had a foal i would be asking if she was a stallion she is so well built

oh my god the foal is bigger than the shetlans haha now that cute, i love how she lets them all come and see her new baby

    3.30 i love that and 3.32

oh god look at the foals leg at part 4.08 is she ok?

  • her legs did look pretty strange when she was born, but they straightened up and she's fine. thanks for asking.

  • soooooooo cute

  • other horsies:whats that thing that just popped out of ya but?

quote:whats that thing that just popped out of ya but?

    :)

  • lol, all the other horses come to have a look like "waz dat??!!"

  • i guess when mother nature says it's time, she doesn't always pick the best spot. :)
