  • The Sanders family is about as good as they get. Barry's a little reserved when it comes to his son, but when you listen to his son talk it's easy to see that Mr and Mrs are raising their kids right.

  • wow i cant wait to see this guy in the professionals NFL football another fantastic football star just like his dad :)

  • DAMN he looks like his daddy.

  • 2:10-2:19 Thats exactly how I look at it.. Nobody will EVER touch the things Barry did at OSU.. So why compare son to father?..

  • Comment removed

  • Barry's one lesson to his son... don't play for the Lions!

  • He runs like his dad too

  • WOW....If I had a son !!!.........whether he plays football vocationally or not, you get the sense that he will be successfully no matter what. For every 10 or 12 Narcissistic knuckle heads there are out there, you find a young man like this. Actually, there are more young men out there like BS II, but the knuckle heads allways ger more attention.

  • He looks so much like him... he seems like a great guy too! :)

  • He sounds like Barry, looks like Barry, laughs like Barry, as humble as Barry. I don't know if he will be as good a football player as his father. He will make his own path and good luck to him. But he is definitely the spitting image of his HOF dad. Back in the day, I was a Lion's fan because of Barry, when he retired I found out I was a Barry Sanders fan. Greatest back I have ever seen. Bad to mediocre O-lines and QB's never stopped him from shining every weekend.

  • WOW, he even looks just like his dad, spitting image

  • @johnnesdoly u can't compare throwing a ball to the athleticism of a pure running back. The Manning's are nothn special if u wanna call running from defensive tackles to throw a ball compare to running at them like a running back do. Big differents buddy !

  • Great genetics in that family that is for sure. Maybe in fifteen years or so the Sanders's will be on the top 10 list of Football's Greatest families. Number 2 or 3 of course. The Mannings will not be topped.

  • holy crap he looks exactly like Barry. Those 2 could switch friggen places and no one would know the difference.

  • He's very similiar to his dad, i hope he plays for the detroit lions too.

  • @ranjha4amreka just joking around but that would be a death sentence! Look at what the detroit lions did for Barry Sr

  • Like Father Like Son.

  • Wow, he looks and sounds like his dad. Hope he will do well.

  • Dude needs to get his form together in the weight room....both squat and cleans looked like garbage.... The press at the end he just lets the weights drop, youre not getting any stonger doing that buddy

  • sounds humble and he should be, but very well spoken

  • @miiencolin

That press is explosive and not meant to be held or resisted in the negative, genius. That's why the reps are performed in rapid succession.

Who gives a fuck about 'stronger' he's not going to be carrying boxes for a living, but that explosive POWER will allow him to run over, through, and around defenders.

Now go re-up your subscription to Men's Health.

  • @miiencolin i love how people criticize every single little thing that a star athlete does because these people know that they wont even come close to being as athletic as him...tell me when you put up highlights like that. maybe then you can talk.

  • @miiencolin the point of the "push off" is to push players off. not to push them and make sure they land without getting hurt. makes me wonder .

  • 1:32 CRAPPY ASS SQUAT FORM

  • @NoobSoldier2006 When you runn that good it dosent matter

  • @NoobSoldier2006

That 'crappy' form will probably make him very rich in about 3 years, how's your perfect (butt out, back straight) form working out for you?

  • I like this kid.

  • Very smart Kidd

  • Hope he is a lion someday

  • Great kid.

  • Don't call him junior. Great attitude and great player.

  • its sad that barry sanders didnt win a superbowl

  • On the field, Barry Sanders was a great player.

Away from the playing field, Barry Sanders was a good man.

He has set these standards for his son. If an individual sets the standard, then others will follow their standard naturally. During his playing career, Barry was a player who played the game purely. He didn't need records - his playing with a team without an offensive line tells everything.

His son has become carrier of his Father's personal legacy.

  • holy hell his like a body double

  • lions should draft him 6 years from now

  • @NETTAHER28 LIons need him now.

  • is he class of 11 because i want to see him in college

  • He talks just like his father too! well spoken; hopefully he will go far.

  • I think he needs to thicken his legs like Barry

  • @humanparadox hes still really young hes only 15.. im sure he will

  • @des696969 Barry will be a college freshman in the 2012 season. This vid is almost 2 years old.

  • @bornagain517 a year and a half ≠ two years...

  • @kaz2534 Okay Mr. Precision. Was there really any need to correct me on that. I was simply stating that this is old because he is at least 2 years older now and more mature physically and close to college. Don't be so anal dude. Pretty sure I can do basic addition and subtraction, well maybe not, but still.

  • @kaz2534 Oh and I forgot to mention because of the subtelty of the term (almost) I used in the initial post. That means close to two years, not two years, fyi.

  • he look alot like barry

  • @pats4lifebb: You have eight misspelled words in your last entry. While I happen to agree with you, it doesn't help your case.

  • i just hope he doesn't get hurt....

  • What a normal, humble sounding kid. Hard to believe he's the son of a hall of famer.

He's got a great adittude, he'll likely do very well. And after this interview, I hope he follows his dad in even greater ways.

Keep it up kid, you're as classy as your dad already!

  • @ricadrew he'll be phenomenal

  • @ricadrew yeah his Dad was the exact same way..very humble....that gets me to thinking...I wonder how Deion Sanders son would act lol

  • I love his dad. I had the honor and pleasure growing up watching him. It would be an honor to see his son live up to his legacy.

  • Well spoken, charismatic, fast, strong, and agile. Jr. will have a great NFL career.

  • This kid seems like a real class act, like father like son apparently. Looking forward to seeing great things from him.

  • LOL, he looks just like Barry...and not even a younger Barry, he looks his dad's age. Like a skinnier twin.

Nice to see he's an articulate and humble young man. No surprise considering who his dad is. Seems like he's taking after his dad off the field as well.

  • nice...stay heathly young man...we need you

  • looks likes him plays like him to

  • Is that a high school weightroom???!!!! STOOOPID!... That ain't fair dawg.... thats bigger then some colleges!

  • The kid has a good head on his shoulders. Best of luck to him.

  • how can people dislike this video..straight haters... barry sanders jr. is he college or high school?

  • @firstthing285 Looked High School.

  • @firstthing285 They said he's 15 in the video, so high school.

  • He looks and sounds just like his father

  • The Lion has taught the cub!

  • He also runs like his daddy

  • Thumbs up if looks like his daddy to his body and his face from the dead XD,

  • wow i didnt know he went to heritage hall i got to moore oklahoma not that far

  • well he looks like him cause he is his son

  • "I have to shut of the mind and just react"- B. Sanders.

  • He looks like Barry and even sounds like Barry.

  • thats tight this is the first vid ive watched of him im glad hes like barry and not all cocky because of his dad and who he is hope the best for him. but no way hes gonna put numbers up like that :p

  • haha, he looks and talks exactly like Barry.

Kid looks pretty talented too, and he seems like a good guy, not what I would expect for a kid with a world famous millionaire father. So I hope he does well.

  • He is very humble..I applauded Barry Snr, raised his son not only to be a great athelite but to carry himself properly in public

  • 1:35 he's not getting parrallel

  • wow a black athlete that can speak properly, and hes only in high school... I appreciate an athlete with a brain... rooting for you barry jr.

  • @DeV0Ti0N-- Wow. Why would so many people give that a thumbs up? Barry Jr is fortunate enough to go to a private school.. Speaks volumes about the structure of our public education system and how much influence environments can have on people. Your statement is more ignorant than what your speaking of. Your 10x worse than that black athlete that cant speak properly who probably wasn't fortunate enough to be raised in a properly structured environment.

  • @xanderschwab Ignorant? It got a thumbs upbecause it is true. Don't get upset over something that does not fit into your idealist perception of how the world should be.

  • @DeV0Ti0N-- Yes, ignorant. You basically said that all black athletes cant speak properly and don't have brains.. Thats ignorance because first off I personally know many black athletes at my university that are intelligent and well educated- and thats just here. It got a few thumbs up because there are people out there just like you that don't take into consideration how bad our social hierarchy really is.Would some jerk off in Europe say that? No.

  • @DeV0Ti0N--Idealist perception? It's a reality. Whites are close to becoming a minority in some European countries and many ethnicities and races seem to have no problem becoming well educated over there. So can you explain that to me?-- Yes, these kids do have a choice but it's proven over and over that our system doesn't work. So I wouldn't consider that an idealist perception. More like a fact that people like you seem to ignore for some reason. Wake up. We're all the same.

  • @xanderschwab If we were all the same we would never have progressed from the cave man. And I don't know much about Europe, other than they try to mimic the blueprint that the United States has established for the best government the world has seen. And I also think your view and my view of educated do not align. You probably think educated is someone who gets good grades in school. Good grades in school is the bare minimum an educated person ought to have. Most athletes are dumb.

  • @DeV0Ti0N your just being very racist, your basicly implying that all black people are dumb, which isnt true and i myself can be very critical of the black american comunity but your just completly going out of line and making a blantently stupid statment

  • @DeV0Ti0N

C'mon man. B-Sand never once made anything racial, so why you even got to go there?.....Good job Junior. I'm rooting for ya.

  • @DeV0Ti0N

He IS from Oklahoma, not the hood, Heritage Hall is a pretty good private school. It's hard to find illiterate Oklahoma high school players.

  • @DeV0Ti0N well if you listen to Barry sr he was very well spoken too, sounded like an intelligent guy

  • @DeV0Ti0N

All that from a youtube video?

    Seriously?

    Loser.

  • @DeV0Ti0N your an idiot. dont inject race into it dumbass

  • @DeV0Ti0N Very racist comment!

  • @1976tech Your ignorance deludes you

  • thats barry twin lol

  • I hope he plays as well as looks like his dad.

  • if he goes to the nfl i hope he gets on a good team and give the sanders a ring

  • well his dad didnt have to go and name him barry as well

  • lions did well with 1 sanders lets hope we can get 2

  • @Petersensae fuuuuuk that... Detroit is a shithole team and the reason barry retiered so early..lets hope he goes to a place were he has a chance to actually shine like his dad couldve

  • Why the fuck is his number 26, and not 21 or 20???

  • @JUSTACATNAMEDLOU They were taken some he wasn't able to have them.

  • he look lyk paula abdul

  • i hope he goes to oklahoma state

  • Barry Sr. always struck me as extremely grounded and humble considering his otherworldly ability. I loved his habit of simply tossing the ball to the ref after a TD. I have to assume he's instilling those same values in his son.

  • Barry Jr.looks like his Father!!

  • what record most negative yards barry sander sucks

  • @fartiou u dumb as hell faggot

  • @fartiou Guess you haven't seen highlights of him...........how sad.

  • @fartiou you are gay

  • @fartiou has the most negative yards and at the same time is third on the all time most

  • @fartiou Yeah well when you have an O-line like the Lions you tend to have a bit of that....Barry Sanders carried the team and still outperformed the majority, if not all the RB's in the NFL during his time. You have no idea what your talking about.

  • Wow. Now it's like he has pressure on him being that his dad was one of the best running backs EVER. Although he may not be feeling the pressure now, he's going to get some when or if he makes it to the NFL.

  • he laughs exactly like his father!! Wow,

  • Thank god he got the dad genes lol

  • This guy is going to be one of the best :)

  • Please go to Notre Dame little Barry. Bring the glory back to the fighting irish of Notre Dame! OK it's done...he just signed to attend Notre Dame. Everybody else back off you jerks!

  • @newtcummer1 That's what I'm hoping too. Go IRSIH!!!!!

  • Please go to Notre Dame little Barry. Bring the glory back to the fighting irish of Notre Dame! OK it's done...he just signed to attend Notre Dame. Everybody else back off you jerks!

  • He is gonna break all of his father records watch!

  • he seems like a great young man! just hope he doesn't make a mistake like his father and he comes on over to a real footbal team! boomer sooner!!

  • @SuperHellokitty011 Uh real football team? You dont know what the hell you're talking about. Sooners didnt want him. They called him a midget as well as did Kansas teams.

  • @BF1 they called barry undersized too before he went to college.

  • great personality...

  • Yeah, Peyton wasn't as good as i expected at THE U.

  • As long as he's no Jarred Payton.Lol

  • hey jr. you shouldn't be like your dad, you should strive to be better

  • "i shouldnt put any pressure on myself" lol wrong choice of words buddy

  • If Barry Jr. doesn't make it in football, he will be a success somewhere else. Seems like an outstanding young man.

  • u guys r jus jealous cus he can be as good as his dad as long as he stay out of troubles

  • @tdlee24 agree with you 100%, these haters can go buzz off

  • you know...

  • he looks great but yeah i do agree with the squats. if u do squats, do em right. ur not helping urself or your team by going halfway and not getting 90 digrees at least.

  • he look like barry!

  • @mjfanz23 probably because its his son

  • Damn he look just like Barry

  • pussy squats? hes only a freshman last time i checked for a freshman do multiple sets before practice that isn't pussy

  • what great character...part of it has to be attributed to his father...its great that he sent his son back to oklahoma instead of spoiling him in michigan. though hed be spoiled either way, yet i think oklahmoa is more of a humble, relaxed way of living. REgardless, THIS KID IS A FRESHMAN, he has alot of pressure, hes producing & he continues to remain humble & respectful. WTF is wit the hate? no true athlete sits behind & types on a computer and talks about how great he is... GOOD LUCK JR...

  • @nfizzle7 i think he had like 12 td's and 700 yards rushing as a soph or frosh thats really good i hope my bruins are looking at this kid

  • hope he goes to the lions, that would be awesome

  • ............GOOOOOO BARRY !!!!!!!!

  • only in the 10th grade people.. give him time

  • 1:32 Pussy squats like those won't get you into the NFL son, best be getting that ass to the grass!

  • hes in 10th grade u faggot, do better bitch

  • ***I do better***, squatting deep ain't hard, just lower the weight and go deep.

  • yes but u can run like he can idiot

  • way better then u can hope 2 be u picec of shit

  • If I cared to destroy myself with steroids I could be 100x better.

  • @supasonicman why u assuming he does roids

i doubt he does ur just jeal;ous until u go to college football u cant say shit

  • Bitch, please. There are millions of motherfuckers taking roids every day, and they still can't cut it in the NFL. Steroids aren't fairy dust, you stupid fuck-wit. They will make a dude who is already a superstar heal faster, enabling him to work out harder and perhaps extend his career. That's it. They won't make a stud out of a ham & egger like you.

  • Wow, I didn't realize people could be so delusional. Only extending their career? You do realize they're called PERFORMANCE ENHANCING DRUGS for a reason right?

  • @supasonicman - You're talking out of your ass. You obviously haven't read anything about the physiological affects of anabolic steroids. So, until you do, shut the fuck up with grown folks are talking, stupid.

  • How ironic to be chastised by some 10 year old reject freak for being a child. If you're the worlds leading expert on steroids, why not tell me how they fail to enhance athlete performance?

  • @supasonicman - You clearly don't don't what ironic means either. You are truly too stupid to live. Kill yourself at once.

  • Learn to form proper sentences, then we can chat little boy.

  • @supasonicman - Don't make me laugh, fuckwit. You still don't know what "ironic" mean, do you, stupid?

  • Sorry, I don't like doing little boy's homework for them, why don't you ask your mommy?

  • he looks like him barry sr. and talks just like him...LAUGHS just like him lol....they have all da same Mannerisms......

But the ability Barry Sr had....i..his son most likely wont have it, sorry to say.....but i wish him ALL the good luck, he seems like a real good kid.

  • yeah i hope detroit doesnt draft him what a curse that would be lol

  • @4life1971

    LMAOOOOOOO

  • he looks and acts just like his dad

  • seems like a nice kid, i hope he does good

  • Barry B A Bruin!

  • I Think He Commited to Michigan.

mark ingram isnt intelligent i played him in HS basketball u dont know

  • very well spoken

  • Hopefully, he learns what his Dad used to say about why he never did Endzone celebrations.....Sr. used to say, "Act like you've been there before, man"!

  • he isnt close to being as good as barry

  • @allstar

    No1 will be..............

  • @SurreallTV i have the ability to be better then him

  • @allstar272727

oh yea?...and what makes u think that? (honest question...i aint bein smart ether..seriously(.......so..?

  • @SurreallTV because ive been told by every one i runn like barry sanders and gale sawyers.a nd i avg. 200 yrds a game as a freshman and i started varisty

  • @allstar272727

ok...so heres a question. What phyical ability or skill...do you think ur MISSING...that would make u be able 2 do EVERYTHING that he does/did...?..

Or..do you think u can do everything that he does...(running-wise)....?

  • @SurreallTV all i need is weight because i weigh 170 and need a lil more and he jus thought crazy and so do i. he had a weird running style and so do i i wann abe better then him that is what keeps me going

  • if ur so great proove it dont just say it

  • but u dont hav proof show me some vids

  • His intelligence is gonna make him a great player. Intelligence was the reason why Ingram has had an amazing season this year.

  • Football is not a thinking man's sport.

    It is a reactionary sport.

  • wouldnt that be funny if the lions selected him but the lions are horrible and i want him to go to the cowboys

  • fuck off lions hater. We have went through enough

  • lets all hope that the lions don't pick him

  • i like thiis kid

  • go to alabama roll tide!!
