i heard that arsenal were linked with benzema and ribery! what do you think of the chances that wengar would buy either one of them and do you think this is what arsenal needs?
Now that city are almost clinching the etoo and tevez deals and considering they have already bought RSC and barry, what formation do you think they will play next year bearing in mind Ireland was their best player.
If they play 4-3-3 they will be able to play all their strikers with robinho in midfeild, ireland in the center and SWP on the other side of mid, but this leaves barry out, and if they play a 4-4-2 they will have to bench either etoo, tevez or RSC. your thoughts please.
any one of these players would be fantastick ( David Villa, David Silva or Juan Mata) but is it worth selling MASCHERANO or ALONSO?????
I know a bit about Silva and know how good Villa is don't now much about Mata
and finaly i know and understand why Alonso wan't out but why Mascherano he is playing fantastick getting first team football (he won't play as much in spain) and we are close to winning things what more could you ask for
Can you tell us more about David Silva? Do you think he will be a good signing for Liverpool? He can play as a left winger or striker, we can still play gerrard behind Torres & have him on the left or use him as a striker if Torres isn't fit. I havnt seen much of him, seeing as he is only 23 do u think he has the quality to develop into a world class player?
Also, if Rafa gets 50Million for Mascherano that could lead to a possible move for Villa & Dropping Gerrard back to midfield
FOOTBALL SPY: Hi Robbie DJ, You seem to know all there is to know about Silva. He would be a genuine high-quality addition to the LIverpool side but were he to come, he would put Albert Riera's nose out of joint after the former Man City and Espanyol man put a decent debut season at Liverpool in.
I also agree with you about Gerrard dropping into midfield but he has such a superb understanding with Torres I think Benitez now prefers to use him as a second striker/advanced attacking midfielder.
FOOTBALL SPY: Hi Multi Polo. Arsenal have been watching Udinese's Gokhan Inler for some time. He's a powerful Swiss defensive midfielder who would complement their attacking players very well.
Also the striker Marouane Chamakh at Bordeaux. He would come relatively cheap considering how good a player he is. The reason for that is that he is in the last year of his contract. Arsenal like him very, very much.
FOOTBALL SPY: Many, many apologies to anyone who posted on the video we put up yesterday afternoon. We had to take it down because there was a glitch in it which some of you pointed out.
As a result we have lost a lot of the questions that you have been asking. So if you'd like to ask again, the Spy will be happy to answer. Its about time he did some overtime!!
PS: Feel free to rate (above), we are always looking for ways to improve.
FOOTBALL SPY : The rumours are coming out of Spain. Spanish radio has been reporting that Valencia believe Liverpool will return to make a bid for Villa now that one of the Anfield owners, George Gillette has sold his stake in one of his sports franchises. There has as yet been no bid for Villa, however. But we will keep you posted.
FOOTBALL SPY: Hi Kon. Bosingwa is on his way to Bayern. The two clubs are negotiating over him. Inter MIlan want Deco and Carvalho and are in talks over that pair. And we hear that Inter are also sniffing around Drogba. That could be the surprise. Oh, and Blackburn want the young striker Franco Di Santo on loan. As for players coming in, Chelsea could still try to persuade Aguero to lower his wage demands. Also Macedonian striker Goran Pandev is well thought of. Also Yuri Zhirkov at CSKA Moscow.
FOOTBALL SPY: Hi Bad Half, this year will be critical if Arsenal want to hang on to Fabregas. They have to win things and they have to spend well enough this summer to prove they can do so.
FOOTBALL SPY: Hi Twisted Cameraman. All the talk seems to be managerial so far. Derek McInnes at St Johnstone, Alan Irvine at Preston, Dave Jones at Cardiff and Alan Shearer at Newcastle have all been linked with the West Brom job. The former Blackburn boss Paul Ince also wants it.
Arsenal sign David villa for 45million on a four year contract, and Ronaldo declares he wont be joining Real madrid after an argument with chairman Florentino Pérez and he also will now be joining Arsenal for a world record fee for 85million.
FOOTBALL SPY: Hello Irfaan (See answer above PMurphy). Rafa Benitez has said he wants to make just one more signing so it will have to be a big one. Lots of people think it wil actually be Villa's Valencia team-mate David Villa. But a lot will depend on whether other clubs bid for the likes of Alonso and Mascherano who are both in high demand.
ok...Liverpool officially signed glen johnson, but i don't know why liverpool want Leandro Fernandez, we need to spend the money for a backup for arbeloa..kyle naughton comes into mind.....i have my doubts abt degen.
You can't really have too many defenders and perhaps Fernandez will not slot straight into the Anfield side. Naughton is a good shout but Sheffield United want in excess of £5million and he is not yet a £5million player.
