  • What a smile you bring to my face when I see you play this tune! Besides your flawless play it's marvelous to see with what joy you play. This is what music's all about. Keep up the good work!

  • excellent, you play as well as pierre bensusan that i see, for the first time, 20years ago.Magic :)

  • i can see you're having a good time there, so am i......brilliant

  • beautiful...really well executed, Flax in Bloom in perticular, although your original is lovely too.

  • That is soooo Nice man!

Its great 2 hear proper musicians who have put a bit of effort in 2 their trade.... u r like your man Damian Nixon - check his stuff out on you tube - Jeeeeez imagine you and him playing 2gether!!!

Put more stuff on here.. dat is so good!

  • Bravo, c'est superbe. J'adore cette musique un peu a consonance Irlandaise comme une sorte de gigue. Tu joues vraiment très bien MERCI beaucoup.

    Ralph

  • Thanks Ralph.

  • nicely done

  • excellent time keeping. never off beat

5 stars for you. well done.

  • Fantastic. I love a good fingerpicker. Well done.

  • Awesome playing! Very soulful.

  • very nice playing, one thing though, your version of Flax in Bloom, is very hard to recognize. I play the tune on fiddle and banjo and it's one of my favorites, I am also a celtic fingerstye player. Could you just tell me where the Flax in Bloom part begins so I can dicipher it?

  • Thanks Joe. The Flax in Bloom starts at about 1:36 of the video. I probably play it slower on the guitar than you would on fiddle or banjo. Thanks again for the complimants.

  • haha too funny, "thanks for the complaints"

Awesome playin dude! Subscribed! Take it easy

  • hearing your song made me feel better thanks

  • Excellent reel! You don't see too many original tunes these days composed in the traditional Irish style. Great playing too, of course.

  • Some very fine playing. Thanks for this. I keep trying to get a glimpse of the brand name of your guitar. Are you in open tuning?

  • Thanks. My guitar is a Taylor814 played in DADGAD.

  • Hi Guitback2 that was a really nice tune you played, and played it well.Keep up the good work.

  • May I ask what nationality you are?

  • USA...of German descent

  • Looks to me like it's capoed at 3rd fret!!!!

  • brilliant!

  • I watch this at least every other day.

  • One of my all time favourite Youtube posts....

  • Great job there, Guitback2! Very entertaining!

  • Were you shaking the floor with your boots? Or was your camera person 'on the road' too.? This tune is haunting me.

  • Best one of yours I've heard yet. Would it be possible to play that with a pick and a bit of strumming? Or would it not even work at all.Tks for the post.

  • Exellent man !*****

  • This is the kind of stuff I like to find on youtube. Nice playing!

  • 5*s from me.
