My favourites: one-shotting Al-Mualim with a hidden blade counter before he can use any special abilities, and a hidden blade takedown that I performed only once while sprinting into some poor guard on a rooftop.

Basically, I ran into his front. He ended up flopping over sideways with the blade in his gut.

I think 1 your missing one of the counters. its when Altair breaks the knee of the person and then kills him. Cant remember which weapon he does it with. But Im sure I've done it... It's the coolest of all the assassinations. So if anyone knows what weapon it is. Please tell me. :P Otherwise, great video!

The knife. If you mean it, it is one of the attacking kills, not a counter-attack.

I think u can do with both short blade and sword. You just need to press the "Legs" button when u are countering a heavy attack from a soldier

Combo Kill = Undefended soldier (commonly one that takes more than one hit) (Xbox 360... unsure of PC)... press X when defense is down and press X again as soon as the weapon makes contact. This could also work with holding X for a strong attack (sword) and pressing X again when the weapon makes contact. Note, weaker soldiers may die in one hit

as long as you have USB 2.0 it will be fine. Also, You'd need 2.0GHz processor for higher quality videos and 512RAM. (I'm using 2 x 2.8GHz Pentium D, 1GB RAM). I was able to record low quality on P4 1.6GHz, 512MB.

then Altaïr puts the dagger under his left arm so stabs the soldier in his stomach.

the best one was missing. i think its in a counter aswell as in a combo attack: kick their knee in

the enemy is standing around looking dizzy and if you do nothing he just falls down and thats it, but if you press A altair kicks his knee straight through, orchestrated by a wonderful cracking sound. its like medieval mortal kombat for a moment.

only problem with violent games is how death comes about...to the public stabings are alot more personal...guns you dont have to see the shooter to know theres a bullet thru you...NOT A THREAT IN ANY WAY!!!...just something i thot of...with some help of the joker's quote.... :)

may not be bloody its still brutally violent when they go into seizures on the ground and scream in agony or when you break their legs, dislocate their spine, and then slit their throat. thats pretty violent dude.

the blood is fore realism. i like how they dont make a massive spray if you stab someone in the somach. the biggest spray ive ever seen is when you slice their neck. but thats being realistic

I can't seem to get the combo kills to work much of the time. However I have taken on a group of about ten guards (two of them medium level) with just my bare fists and won.

They do attack more often later on in the game. So you gotta learn to counter from all angles.

just select it during the fight and use it only for counters. You have to be exact with the timing though. It's always an instant kill if you do.
