@FreidasGarden Hey Freida. I'm trundeling along. Slowly getting back on my feet after the loss of my mom last year. Pottery going better than ever. Will have to revive my page on FB soon - is on my to-do-list. HUGS!
I really apreciate gifts, but when it has been done by hand like this, it becomes unvaluable, never though making a sweather could be so hard... by the other hand, people who knows how to do this are like magicians for me, they have a kind of wisdom that most people just doesn´t have; can imagine moms and daughter geting together at the evening time and have some talking while doing this wonderfull knitting. Thanks for sharing Marihani. Really learned a lot with this one.
@rottencranberry You are so very welcome. The thing is, that when you knit this way, you can finish a project so much faster, and then it becomes inspiring to knit some more! This is absolutely not magic, it is just a matter of practice and taking on more difficult challenges one by one until you can do it all. Really! Start with a very basic vest, for example (then you don't even have to knit the arms). The trick is those round needles, so you can keep knitting and knitting until the arms.
That's a very beautiful sweater! So how have you been?
