@Jaso4444 ...Sure it would work, as long as you can figure out a way to get the humidifier to blow into the tank! Another thing is, that you would need to refill the humidifier on a regular basis so it doesn't run dry and shut off or burn out.
@Jaso4444 have a couple of plants growin in the living room and they have this black spots which makes the leafs turn in yelo and then just fall off which basically the tree dies after or wont be able to produce enything at all. my quastion is what do i do ? could it be lecking humidity or use eny thing else apart from those fonguls which i already have and would make eny difference at all... plze help
@mzdragon118 ...You can go to a hardware or home improvement store and see what kind of fittings they have available that might work for your particular design. You just need to be a lil creative and find what works for you.
i made a humidifier based on this video. i used a water bottle instead of tht canister and siliconed the tubing inside. i have a smaller pump called a hawkeye 201? its alot smaller. ive had it on for about 3 hours now and am not seeing any rise in humidity?
@ImAmerican95...there could be a few reasons why there is no increase in humidity levels in your tank. The siliconed tubing might not be completely air tight and allowing air to escape from the bottle, or the pump being used could be too small to push enough air into the tank. Also, it depends on the size of the bottle you are using compared to the size and type of tank you are using.
Excellent, very informative and I have just made one using the junk from my aquarium box. I never sling anything away lolz! Thank you for posting this up
hi there my name is eric and iw as just wondering how u got the holes into your jar ive tried over and over and they just keep breaking and i also seen ur rain system was wondering if u had any idea on how to make it more misty or drops thank you
@blazinhagis ...The container I use is acrylic, not glass...but I used a drill bit made specifically for glass and plastics. You just have to use water to keep the glass cool and go real slow so it doesn't crack.
You can use a less powerful pump to get more of a drip from the rain bar.
Im just wondering, if my container was in a cool place, like a basement could i leave it outside of a cooler? and Would this also help with raising humidity levels, I'm not really concerned with temperature my humidity is dropping to 30 some nights I would like it about 60 do you think this would help?
yes. you can use it outside of a cooler and still get the humidity level up. the only reason i have mine in a cooler is because the room gets very hot in the summer and the cooled air helps bring down the temp in the tank.
Do you feed your frogs in that tank? I just made a vivarium for my new baby red eye tree frogs, I amworried they cant find their food I was wondering if I should feed them in a seperate tank? Look at my set up.
yes i feed them in that tank. i have 9 adults in the tank and they have no problem finding the food. your 2 little babies might have a little trouble finding food in that big tank,,,however, you don't want to handle them too often to feed them in a separate container.
holy long does that air pump thing last per fill? getting a ball pythong and having humidity issues might try that

how dose this make fog?
100ballpythons100 2 years ago
it doesn't...it's a humidifier not a fogger. it just pumps cool moist air into the tank, not fog.
