Actually the girl, Emma, dressed as a 'Bar Girl' - polite euphemism - left the show that year making her around 16 at the time - 1985. She would be the same age as me - 42 - now in 2011... The other kids would be in their 30s too!
All the shows were produced and directed by the late Colin Clews, who had been at ATV then Central since the 1950s, and was a BAFTA award winner for producing Morecame & Wise in the 1960s.
i agree that things were more innocent back then. I was in a Youth Theatre from about 10 - 16 and some of the dancing the girls did then would be considered a bit risquee in today's climate of weirdos!!
ha! no... it's just how i feel about seeing stuff like this. like, there was GAP ad over Christmas with young girls in boots and skirts, dancing acting all cute and... urgh, it was gross. what makes me sick is the people that dream up these marketing pieces. fucking hate it... pageants too. little girls acting like woman, getting points/scores from men and women.
My sister loved this show, and it drove me crazy. Used to punch the TV every time those prancing kids came on, couldn't stand them. While still very irritating i didn't punch anything this time.
I love this site for years all those drunken coversations of 'Remember that tv showwhen we were little....' have been answered Bliss tacky telly at it's worst. Oh and that little brat is the girl from two point 4 children and who nearly married Ant or Dec!
Brilliant archive, my claim to fame was going to school with the boy from the show `You Should Be So Lucky` with Vince Purity ha ha, I wonder if the dancers here still dance?
They probably look back on their time on the show as mad and get embarrassed! I would! They did seem to be very talented though but they would be coming from a massively precocious stage school!
I apologise to all the kids here or as they are grown up, I didnt mean to be so cruel! They probably had a great time there! I always wanted to go to stage school though and wished I had the chance to!

An extremely posh 13 year old stage school bratt dressed as a prostitute. They didn't half put some weird things on TV in the 80's.
