I'm still not sure what Serah's reasoning was to wait until Lightning's birthday to let her know that she was a l'Cie AND that she wanted to marry Snow. I mean, was she THAT oblicious. "Ooooh! Best birthday gift EVER!"
In Light's defense, Serah told Light about her marriage (after only knowing the guy for about a month) to Snow (whom Lightnind despised) on her birthday (the one day out of the year that isn't about taking care of Serah) BEFORE telling her about being cursed by a mythical god that no one has seen in hundreds of years (They didn't even show her the brand). What exactly did Serah expect to happen?

Lightning fought of the armies of Cocoon and Pulse while killing god like creatures in order to save her and carry out (not that they really did...you know what, this whole game made very little sense) her wish of saving Cocoon...and all Serah can say is, "I know"?
@DarkCrescendo Ok. point taken. but as her sister. she needs to support Serah. Lightning, based on what I've seen. Is not the type of person to argue or complain a lot (though she was a little bit bitchy in this scene.) so there is no point in "defending" her. She's a big girl and she can handle it. This is my point of view. Lightning was being a dik in this ONE scene. I'm not trying to say through myriads of innuendos that She is indeed in fact, a dik.

But really, how much more can Lightning support Serah beyond taking care of her for six years, giving up her own hopes/dreams/goals by joining the military to support the two of them, basically give up her former personality enable to become strong enough, etc.? I get that Light was being overly harsh on Serah here, but like I said, given the circumstances, what did Serah honestly expect (and after reading episode zero, Serah bringing Snow to Light's birthday is even...

That's why she talked kindly to Snow in the ark, helped Hope get stronger, would have GIVEN HER LIFE for Hope to be able to escape in Palumpolum, and in the end of the game told Fang they were all int he fight together.
