It is strange how one of the best movie beat em ups never got ported (To my understanding) to the consoles... even on the Capcom Collections it is missing which is sad. There has to be a reason why... maybe who ever owns the movie rights refuses to let them?  I have no idea. The only other good TV/movie based beat em ups or arcade games in general, that I can think of, was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and The Simpsons... In fact, has The Simpsons ever been ported? And if not... why not?

I did have the original CP-2 Board for this game and almost got a Arcade "Supergun" so I could play it at home but missed out on an Ebay auction. Sadly I sold it because at the time I could afford the £250 for one but now regret it.

Why?

Because I played the MAME Emulator version and loved every second of it. Now if I could get another board!

This is such a badass intro, and game, and it sucks that it never got ported. A Sega 32X version was planned, but sadly cancelled, and I doubt we'll ever see a port of this great game. I, thankfully have it for the arcade though, as I have the PCB for it, that I use in my Jamma cabinet. Either way, it deserves to come home, so most gamers can play it, and just see how wonderful of a game this is.

Freaking awesome game: if they re-released this arcade version on the Playstation Network or Xbox Live service, I'd buy it in a heartbeat as long as it's the three/four player version and still had the highest difficulty option where you get swarmed from all sides. :D

It never game out on the Genesis, liar. And the SNES game of the same name was completely different than the arcade game and sucked ass. Genesis had 64 colors, this arcade game had over a thousand colors. I hate liars.
