If you are going to a CACREP accredited institution, you need to complete a year long internship prior to graduation. You will probably not be paid for this, despite what is said in the video.

Please make sure that the program is accredited by the Council for Accreditation and Related Educational Programs for counselor education. Regarding social work, please only consider programs accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
