@nems79au it is based on an amphibious fighting vehicle, however propellers are not installed, it is not known if they can be refitted when needed. but these are pretty old design, and would be quite slow, China has newer track based assault gun that are specialized for amphibious operation, but those gun are not 125/155" like their land based counterpart, as they need speed to get out of water asap. a tank destroyer in the water is going to be abit of a sitting duck you could hit even with RPG.
AS long as you keep it on solid ground or near roads becuase it looks to heavy to be all terrain. I believe it were to get in real muck it would need to be towed and in combat a stuck armored system is soon abandon because its quickly destroyed
who care's if its a copy, as long as it does the job it was made for, id like to see you make something, or just do something, that hasn't been done before you, from your computer to your toilet its all a copy from someone else, just with a little modification from the original.
@s0undActivist and a similar guns system, only in 120mm smoothbore barrel, is a copy of russian VENA self propelled mortar/howizer. even turret is the same, and the mask of the gun. to add a bit more, even russian stuff is not 100% indigenous, nicely stolen data and components from the west. back in a day my dad was instaling those supercomputers at military and civilian sites, and then he saw a true IBM machine that was 100% identical..or should i say soviet one was identical to IBM :)
chinese can't drive. Why the hell are they driving these ???

gebgroup 1 year ago
@gebgroup
That was the 1960s and 1970s.
Now, 95% of the equipment are indigenous.

@segregator236
indigenous doesnt mean it wasnt copied from someone else.. most China military aviation is a pale copy of the russian one for example ..
