pointing fingers is no help whatsoever to all the infants, elderly and infirm people left on I-10 for several days in August's heat/humidity. I honestly don't care who you are, if you are left defenseless on the interstate, I want to help you - I don't care how you ended up there. I wouldn't leave my own grandparents or baby like that. What day & age is this & what country? I love America, I just mean that it was hard to believe this was happening HERE. Surreal
I'm from Louisiana!! What we all need to do is seriously help the Wetlands. Some people don't realize that a football field of the wetlands disappears every hour. Without the wetlands the worse Louisiana gets hit from Hurricanes. Also without Louisiana, there will be no seafood or other items. People that aren't from Louisiana don't realize how bad we have it.
well what happend in new orleans whas bad and the us goverment did nothing to help the first and importent houres so thy rhather spend the mony for the wars and make the rich even more richer so shame on you mister busch but when you come knocking on heavens door thy wiil send you strait to hell and for punishment you have the suck with a straw all the flooded areas in the whole world for ever and ever and for all the volenteers who have helped the people in the flooded areas hats off thanks
Wait until a natural disaster comes your way and lets see how you react . Many people did leave-thats not the point. Ray Nagin had little power this was bigger than him. He made many mistakes, but it was up to the Feds to step in-they took forever. We can send troops to Iraq and 1/2 way around the world wasting American tax payers dollars and folks like you don't say a word, but when it comes home, you become partisan. If Louisiana succeeded from the union and kept the oil we'd rule!
You are really ignorate. Alot of people did evacuate from Louisiana. It wouldn't have made any difference if we hadn't. The levees broke flooding New Orleans and the Bayou and destroying the wetlands. That's why we need to restore them.
She's grown up so much. I've been a fan of hers for several years now, and I know my favorite song that she's recorded is "Lovers' Waltz" because it was an instrumental, and her voice was so whiney and sounded like she needed to grow up. It looks like she's grown up now and she's going to develop into an outstanding lifelong talent.
Amanda is a good ambassador for Louisiana & the Gulf States. I watched her preform yesterday. She is very approachable & extremely sweet. I gave her a copy of the portrait I drew of her & she signed the original photo I used. I bought her CDs & Hurricane on the Bayou. I can't wait to watch it.
Kathy, this is incredible! I'm so glad this film is getting out there. Ever since stopping in N.O. to see what was still there I was hoping that something like this was at least in the works.
