Have you seen Mirrors with Kiefer? It's a bad movie but he's basically channeling Jack Bauer in a horror film & he even takes the Dammit rant further by saying the Lord's name in vain before Dammit.I don't know what 24: the movie will be rated though. It's got violence common in R rated films in a TV-14 show & had an M rated game that had no blood at all which is dumb

I have not seen mirrors, but i've heard terrible things about it. however, you make a good point. Im surprised that Jack hasnt said goddamnit ever, but then again you cant say that on TV, which i think is frankly a bit ridiculous. Not allowing the word shit was kinda pushing it.

and why was the 24 game rated M anyways? I've played T rated games that are a lot bloodier.

@ the Rating for videogames, I honestly don't know but the ESRB is fucked up. They rated Splinter Cell games both T & M for blood and there was never any blood in the game save for the brief cinematic & it wasn't that bad. A 14-year-old could handle it.

I never played the awful 24 game but I did see a walkthrough on this site. Pretty bad graphics even for PS2, no blood so the rating is bogus & despite the talent returning, it still sucked. Mirrors, I never finished, it was so bad.

yeah, why are the newer splinter cells rated M anyways? theres virtually no blood and the language is pretty light too. (hell, shit, damn)

And call of duty 4 was rated M for blood and gore and strong language. sometimes blood would splatter onto the wall and a guys arm is shot off, but it happens so quickly. and the language was most hell and shit. An F-bomb was very discreetly dropped once (after the crashed helicopter goes after macmillian, he quickly says fuck. the subtitles say crap)

Call of Duty 4 isn't bad until the part where you blow the main bad guys brains out.

The newest one is only M for the one mission where you kill innocent people but you get to skip it if you want & the language also isn't bad.

Call of Duty deserves the M but it's tame compared to say, Silent Hill but games like Splinter Cell or HALO should be rated T
