As soon as the shooters left the library, everyone that could move made a mad dash for the emergency exit. Why the hell didn't they just do that to begin with, before the shooters even entered the room? This teacher knew that the shooters were on the opposite side of the school--she'd faced them downstairs--so why didn't she lead the students out? Idiotic. I know that in the face of danger, it's hard to be rational. But come on...

@thisphotoisproof Not really their was another way out through another door but they prob didn't understand how serious it was and didn't use the door. It was prob a fire escape and we all know that going through fire escapes is almost sacrilege unless flames are 10ft high.

I can't imagine what she went through in the library. She wanted to protect the children at columbine and is such a beautiful woman. She had to hear the shooters mock people and then shot them point blank. she will never get over what she endured. I pray for her to be happy the rest of her life :)

Yeah you guys need to read their journals, Eric had problems and needed help, he hated society and just wanted to kill everything. On The other hand Dylan was just a lonely kid, from what i know he only had two friends, one of them was Eric. He desperately wanted to fit in at school, but he was denied that. I'm not sure if he was bullied, but people sure as shit pushed him to a breaking point. Its actually quite sad.

it had alot to do with the social hierarchy of the school and if you say thats not true then you must have never been to high school because every school is like that and there are people who are left out of things and made to fell less "cool" than others, i should know lol, and you may say that it should never have happened but then we would all be a little more blind and we would never have learnt what some people can do and how the pain that is inflicted on people can end in a disaster
