saw the Dave & Pete line up at Peterborough at a bike rally dunno when...guessing it was around 93 ish?...awesome band glad to see / hear they're still kicking !
That was great. That's how rockabilly was meant to be! Fast and on the verge of total disaster. If that makes sense to you then you know what I mean. Keep on a rockin'.
Hi Dave - Congratulations you have come a long way since those recording sessions in my livingroom in Lincoln and the shows at the Appolo Club off Brant road not to mention the practice sessions at the Swiss Cottage in Lincoln, I stll have all those recordings which are now on disc and they bring back happy memories, Keep up the good work and I am longing to to hear and see more of your talents on here, by the way I still have my 1962 Gretch Country Gent and I am now in a Shadows type band
The band has totally changed a few times its only Dave that is left from the originals. The bass player went on to bigger and better things with the sinners, freeform fork and now the slimlinepapas and Bryn is now a very happy man with a lovely family
@doublebasskiller Bigger ? I wouldn't say that.. Better ? Technically yes but i suppose that'd be a matter of opinion lol. Bryn's playing in a band called Relentless atm :)
I have know Dave for 20+ years & had the pleasure of being a stand in drummer a couple of times for them, Geordie was the best on the double bass & Bryn on drums was the force, a great bunch of lads & i love that raunchy rockabilly sound, keep on rockin lads.Rick
Used to see the original line up years ago, remember them playing support to BR5 49 a couple of times at Notts County Footy Club! Whatever happened to Pete the bassists sideline group The Sinners, anybody know?

I've lost count of how many times I've seen this band perform, they always gave a rockin good night.
I think one of thier best was at Hemsby in the mid 90's.
We need more posts of them in action.
