  • Is this an MO of your faith? To comb through death certificates at a local town hall and return to the address? This one time, I suppose, your stupidity was found out. An 87 year old woman and her family, you didn't try to minister to, you tried to take advantage of them in their grief.

  • These people look like morticians, first of all. Second of all, if Jesus is the Son of God, how can there be ANOTHER prophet? Lastly, how could a couple of missionaries come to my house to talk to me about how my DEAD grandmother had been contacting the Mormon Church for months in hopes her family might follow her example? She had been sick for MONTHS and contacted NOONE. What happened? These morbid minded people scanned DEATH CERTIFICATES at the town hall and molested the grieving.....

  • What a beautiful thing is to know by myself if the Book of Mormon is true...and I know because my heart was prepared to understand, otherwise I could not receive this personnel revelation from God. and that feeling provoke into my heart a great joy.

  • But remember, remember do so with an open heart and open mind ask god in prayer;)

  • Answer to your simple challenge my friend chanse2 1-10 Read The Book Of Mormon ask god if these things are true! And I promise you if you do it with open heart and open mind the holy spirit will bear witness unto you that this book is true. Another testament of Jesus Christ.

  • Reply 10: There seems no ending to the proof that the Book of Mormon is a fictional tale out of the fantasy of the so called prophet Joseph Smith.

Can anyone challange all these true statements in all my replys from 1 to 10?

  • Reply 9: If the Book of Mormon is true, then why has the Mormon church changed it? Examples are: 1 Nephi 11:21; 19:20; 20:1 and Alma 29:4. Compare these with the original Book of Mormon. (Gerald and Sandra Tanner have counted 3,913 changes in the Book of Mormon, excluding punctuation changes.)

How did Nephi with a few men on a new continent build a temple like Solomon's while Solomon needed 163,300 workmen and seven years to build his temple? (1 Kings 5:13-18 and 2 Nephi 5:15-17).

  • Reply 8: There are:

No artefacts of any kind which demonstrates the Book of Mormon is true has been found.

Rather than finding supportive evidence, Mormon scholars have been forced to retreat from traditional interpretations of Book of Mormon statements.

From "Archaeology and the Book of Mormon" by Hal Hougey, p. 12

If the Book of Mormon is true, why do Indians fail to turn white when they become Mormons? (2 Nephi 30:6, prior to the 1981 revision).

  • Reply 7: There are:

No genuine inscriptions have been found in America in Egyptian or anything similar to Egyptian, which could correspond to Joseph Smith's 'reformed Egyptian.'

No ancient copies of Book of Mormon scriptures have been found.

No ancient inscriptions of any kind in America which indicate that the ancient inhabitants had Hebrew or Christian beliefs have been found.

No mention of Book of Mormon persons, nations, or places have been found.

  • Reply 6: Thus based upon this alone, the Book of Mormon cannot be the translation of an ancient document.

Joseph Smith conveniently predicted himself by adding to the King James Translation of the Bible at the end of Genesis (Genesis 50:26) and extending Genesis out to verse 33 in the Joseph Smith Translation of the Bible.

No Book of Mormon cities have been located.

No Book of Mormon names have been found in New World inscriptions.

No genuine inscriptions have been found in Hebrew in America.

  • Reply 5: There is zero independent archaeological evidence supporting the Book of Mormon.

The Book of Mormon contains some 27,000 words from the King James Bible, approximately 25,000 from the Old Testament and approximately 2,000 from the New Testament. If the King James Bible was published 1,190 years after Moroni allegedly buried the gold plates in 421 A.D., how did Moroni incorporate the 1611 A.D. King James Bible (including two Hebrew to English translation errors) into his gold plates?

Manuscript Found (a manuscript written by Solomon Spalding) (See the first link in the Research Links section below for info on 1,128 pages of documentation.)

Not one piece of independent, non-Mormon archeological evidence supports the Book of Mormon.

  • Reply 3: BOM heavily plagiarized from books freely available at the time.

Ethan Smith's View of the Hebrews (1823, Poultney, Vermont, Smith & Shute, particularly p. 150). Ethan Smith preached in Poultney, Vermont from 1821 to 1826. Poultney, Vermont is near the location of many of the families who founded Mormonism.

  • Reply 2: BOM heavily plagiarized from books which were freely available at the time.

The Apocrypha (These are the books in the Catholic Bible which are between the Old and New Testament. Machabees is an example.)

  • Reply 1: The Book of Mormon isn't an original work. It also can't be the translation of an ancient document. What could it be? It's obviously a fiction novel, heavily plagiarized from books which were freely available at the time.

The Book of Mormon has events similar to and/or phrases identical to or nearly identical to those found in:

    • The preface to the King James Bible

    • 21 chapters of Isaiah

  • Oh and I know every fellow christian knows deep down in there hearts this is true, even mormons whose religion is no longer the lust filled third reich it used to be, feel this is true. Joseph Smith spoke to a fallen angel, perhaps even satan, on that night he got his message. That was NOT one of Gods angels. Mormons you are lucky God even listens to you with your raunchy pre twentieth century history.

  • If the 13th tribe of Isreal really went to the new world, why did'nt they take the wheel with them? To the guy who made this channel, you will be surprised to find out God is not a conservative. Jesus was the most anti-right wing man who ever lived. Its sad my religion bread people like Justinian and G.Bush. In fact, anyone with a brain who is not just a follower, who has read any history, should see how dangerous both political conservatism and communism are.

  • is that John Stamos on the motorbike circa 1986?

  • OK, that makes sense. The apostles and people who were around Jesus and wrote the Bible were apostate.

Centuries later God picked ONE person in the woods to revel a secret to? That sounds apostate to me.

  • @rickgigliotti

God has revealed his secrets to "all those who have my Spirit with them."

Martin Luther was inspired and other holy men. It's prophesied and logical that he would speak to us again.

  • @Freedom0rBust God is all knowing and does not lie. The Mormon god either lied or does not know the future because of the false prophesies. Also, God would not contradict Himself. Mormon scripture contradicts itself...

  • In the furnace of affliction is when we are chosen.

  • People should worry about the life they have today, not the moronic notion of a afterlife. Get a grip people, God is as big a myth as zeus and the flying spaghetti monster. Invest in educating yourself about whats real and not fiction. fools

  • @bighrabovsky grow up a little my man. the fact that you don't believe in god doesnt give you the right to call anyone a fool. I am 100% sure there is at least 1 person that believes in this church with triple your IQ that is no fool. Stop trying to make jokes about the spaghetti monster and be a little more productive with your life. :)

  • Deeper understanding comes from real intent to know what is true. A man of God is a man of God no matter what mankind may see on the outside.

  • Really great video. I am not a mormon but THE MORE I PONDER OF LIFE AND THINGS IN OUR NATURE, ALL THINGS THIS CHURCH TEACH REALLY FIT. LIKE A WOVEN SWEATER EVERYTHING IN THIS CHURCH REALLY FITS ONE ANOTHER. Someday I will be a mormon. I am in the middle east now. after going back to my country i want to be baptized by the authorized man not by somebody who took some tests and pass the exam in his theology college

  • @strongpride73 You will get there, my friend, if you truely desire it. I pray that your desire to know light and truth will continue. <3

  • @strongpride73 good for you my friend

  • I love Elder Christofferson. He doesn't sugar coat, but still speaks beautifully

  • truly our decisions determine our destiny.

  • I love to be a L.D.S.

  • Wow i love this church

  • "So that eventually you could learn what they kinow, do what they do, and BE WHAT THEY ARE." Pure blasphemy

  • @Wbeliever7 Jesus said "Be ye therefore perfect, even as I or your Father in Heaven is perfect." He is not in the habit of giving commandments that cannot be followed.

  • @Jefafa824 reference please

  • @Jefafa824 nevermind found it. Don't know where you got that translation though. I know you guys use the KJV but I looked in there and that's not exactly what it says so I'm assuming you got this one from the mormon version of the Bible

  • @Wbeliever7 There is not a "mormon bible" in existence. We use the king james translation like you said of the bible which proven by history is the most correct of any translation of the bible in existence. The Book of Mormon, is another testament, from another people, of the coming of Christ. not another bible, Study up before you say such things. :)

  • @Jefafa824 Oh also, concerning the quoted text. We will certainly be MADE perfect by the grace of God. But nothing about our own actions will make us perfect.

  • Thank you for this video. Many people fail to understand the importance and fragility of freedom.

  • dang this gets deep

  • Yes, definitely a lot to ponder.

  • A contemporary issue affecting our moral agency...go to my channel and see a recent, extremely hard hitting interview on the absolute fraud and danger of vaccines -- and about a simple tool to viralize the truth about vaccines. The more people that know the truth, the harder it will be to force these vaccines on those of us that would rather put our trust in God, eating right, our own immune systems, natural remedies, faith & prayer -- rather than on Big Pharma and their veritable witches brews.

  • excellent

  • Very nicely done compilation and video work and I'll definitely concur with Ath1337isDerek.

  • I had no idea Elder Christofferson was so eloquent and profound. Looks to me like the esoteric void left by the passing of Elder Maxwell has a home with our newest beloved Apostle.

  • Elder Christofferson just spoke in my stake in Indiana last week and it was truly beautiful! It was such a great experience to have an apostle of the Lord speak and he was a really great speaker.

I got to attend the young single adult meeting he spoke at and perform in the stake choir the next day when he spoke to the stake. What an amazing experience.

  • Nice.

  • Very nice video.
