well, amherst is the flagship campus so it is THE umass. but at games we usually chant "u-mass- am-herst (silent h! ) when we play lowell, who is really good btw

I'm a UMass student and a huge hockey fan. No UMass fans know when to chant "bullshit" and when to just sit down and accept the penalty. If it's a dirty hit, we gotta take time in the box.

Lowell's been up-and-coming for several years, and it finally paid off. Congrats on making the playoffs when we choked. I'll give you all the credit in the world, cause you did it. But guess what? If not for some lucky bullshit goals you wouldn't have won our series. Were you even at these games? Don't get too excited about hockey next year, because you'll get your asses handed to you at Tsongas AND Mullins.

I never questioned the whole "UMass" thing. we call ourselves UML at games. Idk though, saying "Damn, Lowell sucks" and that we only won the alumni cup by a few bullshit goals doesn't sound like giving credit at all lol. and yes, I was at every home game working in the press box and i watched every road game online. UML only lost 3 players this year, so I don't see us dropping off in performance at all
