@biologyfreak101 The episode is called "Swan Song" It is season 3 episode 7. Ida Lupino plays his wife, and Johnny Cash plays the killer. It really is one of the best episodes. You can tell Johnny was having fun playing the bad guy. And the chemistry between him and Peter Falk was fantastic. You would love it.
It's a song that most of us can relate to. When I was a kid, Sunday mornings were beautiful, quiet, warm. Now, banks are open, people work, it's supposed to be a time for peace, to relax, spend time with family and of course go to church. RIP Johnny Cash.
Missing Johnny Cash and his reflection on what must have been his childhood and missing the innocence of his association with church and his fellowship with his Savior. Find one you feel comfortable in, even if it takes time. We all need to feel his spirit.
Even after his death, many people, both here and abroad, are discovering the genius, the deep soulful voice of Johnny Cash. He was one of the best. RIP, Johnny and June. :*(
Johnny Cash, what a wonderful chapter in our life, your music will always play on, you are missed by many, but you left us with a heritage that we can play everyday. Your words and music add so much richness to our lives. JP Florida & Montreal

Johnny Cash was my father and uncles supervision as his parents and my grandparents picked cotton on a share cropped field. Johnny would entertain my dad and uncle by playing a harmonica and taking them fishing. My dad told me these stories as a kid, I met JC in Tampa in 1981. May dad, Johnny rest in peace. I still carry the memory of both with me and I use Johnnys music in my daily life
@floricajun Nice story thanks for sharing. I think this song is sad, but its a masterpiece because it takes you through that special day and finally you stay touched, so Kris Krisstoferson is a great composer and Jhonny Cash an amazing singer.
kris. one of america's best poets brings life and reality together in his songs. grit and and soul fill the song. for a while in my life i felt the poignacy ofsunday mornings. thanx for the post.
usually after hearing this song a few times and maybe a flat beer in the sunday morning ,i give the old lady the check and get some head waiting for monday morning.then go for another week, iam ironworker and ready
Brilliant vid Glen, these images you've chosen really help express the lyrics here. An awesome timeless song sung by a legend and written by a word smith second to none. Good vid put together very thoughtfully indeed. Have a good weekend my friend.
A dear friend, who's life was recently taken in a tragic episode....sang this song every chance he got. An anthem of sorts for him, and I can't tell you how much comfort it's been listening to this song and the wonderful memories it's allowed to come flooding back to me. Thank you so very much for posting this video!
