once when i was about 4 (btw i live in s-o-t too!) me, my mum and my dad were driving in the car when my mum spotted something in the sky. so we pulled over and got a closer look and my parents noticed it was a triangle shape. yes! TRIANGLE! no lie! it had three lights.

I think you'll find it's Sirius that appears to change colour.

Venus shows as a white disc, too big to twinkle, though it can look reddish when seen through dust.

hi are u the guy that took this vid & lives in stoke? i live in stafford & last friday at 11.17pm i saw two ufos i am so pissed off coz i was on my motorbike & never had time to get footage or pics plus i only had my mobile phone would of been crap quality anyway but two ufos no lights no noise just two oval shape kinda shadows following eachother about 75-100 feet apart & about 1000ft up looked like heading in the rugley directions.there were 3 planes very high up surley they had them on radar.

venus changes color depending on the atmospheric conditions above the earth, sometimes it looks bright red or reddish orange, others times kinda blue, but lots of times it looks green! :-)

I think the technology was first developed by the Nazis during WW2 before being seized and further developed by the US military after the war. The US military are apparently at least 25 years ahead of the rest of us in their technology which includes these magnetic propulsion craft. Hi, The strip of lights is the Industrial Site lights, sorry the video is at an angle recorded from my phone. I have no explanation what the green star-like light is, Ive researched and its not a star, satelitte, planet or meteor. It felt strange recording it as I knew it was a UFO because the green ball just disappears. It was scary because you dont expect to see anything like this in Stoke and people think u r mad, if u look into the Illuminati/New World Order/2012 phophecies point out.......

that nearer to the end people all over the world will see ufo's more in the sky. I have e-mailed a Professor in astro-physics waiting for a reply due end of August 08. If u look at green-ball like UFO's or check my favourites u will see how many sightings all around the world look similar to mine, this is why it's more creepy because others have experienced the same thing. Ive looked at the daily star paper today on page 15 it says that orange spheres were seen in manchester yesterday and roads were blocked as people thought it was an invasion of aliens!!!Strange, they have tried to cover it up to say that the orange lights were natural comin from the meteor showers, wernt they from 11th - 13th august????? appreciate any comments!

I've read that the Perseid meteor showers were seen more as streaks across the sky during the peak of August 12. If what was really seen by the people had the appearance of persistent orange spheres then they're just insulting the intelligence of the public again with lame reasoning. Not knowing the details of the sightings I just couldn't make any definite conclusion. At least they didn't say swamp gas this time. Perhaps someone else has some more info about the sightings??
