Glass water bottle is worth the price when it comes to your health! Thanks for this video I've been drinking my water every single day for the past 3 years in bottles. I will change to glass bottle ASAP!
The only plastic bottles that have been known to leech BPA are Polycarbonate, also known as PC, and it's recycling symbol #6 in North America.
Glass bottles are alright but usually the lid is steel, not stainless steel and it eventually starts to corrode and that gets into the water. Sometimes the lids are coated with a plastic that can leech BPA, which also kind of defeats the purpose.
Also glass breaks too easily and that can be messy or dangerous.
@bunnywithaHop : I assume you were asking if glass does not leach anything. To my knowledge, it does not. Put filtered water in it...preferably reverse osmosis filtered water, but if nothing else, at least charcoal filtered water (like a Brita filter).
Dr. Isaacs thank you so much for your information. I have been doing the same thing with the glass bottles. I use jam glass containers, juice glass bottles (the one you showed ;) ). Refill them with water and put them in the fridge, the children love it. We are going to buy the Kleen Kanteen stainless steel bottle, for on the go and for the children for school. Now is stainless steel or aluminum better for those on the go bottles?
Stick with stainless steel. Aluminum can have multiple dangerous effects on the body beyond the ones you imagine with Alzheimer's (including compromising kidney function and contributing to osteomalacia, a form of bone disease akin to osteoporosis). Reducing your exposure to anything harmful to the body is the goal here. Cheers to you for using glass containers for your children!

Stainless steel is probably the best choice.
