Extremely helpful. I've watched all your other videos on sampling and I have your very helpful (free) Micvox program!!!! I finally think I know how to fully utilize most of the functions on FL Studio now, thanks to your work!!!!!!!!!!
You're an idiot if you think you'll get quality sounds for free. This dude has great sounds.... All available for digital download. And the pricing is cheap considering the amount of sounds you get.
@dhump415 The point of posting the comment was to drive traffic and draw attention to my website, and you responded to my post TWICE. THANKS for all the support dump415! I'm gonna keep doing me homie, you worry about you bruh. Like I said, that was a year year ago. I'm on to bigger and better ventures now, let's get this money in 2011.
Over the past six years I have collected and captured a very large diverse collection of sample C.D's/ Loop Kits/ Loop C.D's/ Tutorials and much more. I have all the factory sounds from every drum machine made in the last 20 years including the AKAI MPC range with MPC programmes.
Trust me, you want it I got it I have everything!
if you already have fl studio. it is already installed. just go to the sampler. load a sample and hit edit on the console that pops up when you click on the sampler
Hey man how do you load Itunes imported Music onto Edison all it ever says when i open the itunes music folder is no items match your search??????I can use every thing else except for this???please help out ......I got alot of shit i wanna play round with.......
@joshuatorres1988 I believe iTunes format is not (yet) compatible with Edison/FL Studio. You may want to look into first converting the iTunes songs or directly recording them (while playing them) from your soundcard into FL Studio.
Hi killarmy101, it isn't that difficult to sample in FL. As long as you have ASIO setup and configured and a soundcard input then you're good to go. How and what exactly are you sampling?
can i just say your the best help on the whole of the internet you reply to most if not all answers and suprises me alot i have a question for you, where do you get the instrumentals fo songs to cut the drums from?
Hi crushablake, thank you for the positive comment.
I get the instrumentals and songs from various sources including vinyl, FM Radio, Internet, VHS tapes, DVD's, etc.
Specifically there are records that you may be able to find some cool breaks where it's literally just the drums playing in which you can then sample, cut, chop and re-arrange them into your own music creations.
Add Edison to an empty effects slot in the Master Mixer Insert Track then press record. You'll be able to record any sounds, including a live session, being played within FL Studio. Let me know how it works out for you.
This isn't possible. It would be very difficult to completely strip vocals out from a song as everything is mixed and sitting in one spot within the track unless they are on separate channels for instance the instrument/music on the Left Channel and the vocals/singer on the Right Channel. This is very unlikely.
Hi storm, we probably wont consider them DJ's however with the advancement of sound technologies and the barriers and rules of music creation scene being broken, I definitely see a new generation of SOUND-PLAYERS, much like the DJ will emerge. Here at the SampleSimpleLABS we frequently mix creative production techniques with live performance and it's very much similar to a DJ whose sound medium is traditionally vinyl wax records and now MP3's. It'll definitely inspire aspiring sound tweakers.
Thanks for checking out the video DjDubzstudio. Yes that is the Drag / Copy Button and can be used is a number of ways within FL Studio. Be sure to check out the 'Dragging samples with the Edison Drag / Copy Button' video in our SampleSimple YouTube Channel.
samplesimple i need help, i was making a score on my pc keyboard wile recording and i changed some settings. now all i have is an arrow for a cursor, that cant click or highlight. ???
You can right click a sample from the Brwoser then select Open in Edison. Or you can use the Ctrl + E keys after you've opened a samples Channel Settings.
The drag and drop method can be used for the FPC also. This video is demonstration on how to use Edison to create separate sample sound files. An Edison drag can be used to drag the slice into an FPC pad, a Sampler channel, the Playlist or even a Windows folder that would hold your sample files.
We've worked with the DragDrop method with the FPC before. However, we havent used the FPC to make beats. But it is a great tool create your beats with regardless.
Amazing Vid! If you need some sample kits check my vids..

what can you do with the samples
MISSTAFLY8 2 years ago
Hi MISSTAFLY8, this all depends on what you'd like to do with them.
You could for instance, if you had sampled the sounds from your own drumkit in your studio, upload, promote and/or sell your kits.
Or you could simply use your kits in your own songs as they'll be your own drums.
It's up to you - Stay tuned for more.
