This video really makes me miss those two. Aww. And no, they're not 'split up' in that sense of the word. Jack has always played in multiple bands with different musicians, like when he started The White Stripes he was also in 2 Star Tabernacle and The Go (I think anyway). They took a break because of Meg's health. I think they will be back when he finds the time seeing as he constantly seems to be doing 1000 things at once. When he's with Meg he likes to focus 100% on The White Stripes.

yeah, Jack never announced that him and Meg were splitting up either temporarily or for good...he's just experimenting with other musicians and styles. He can be kind of a mysterious guy lol and I have a feeling that in the coming years he's gonna bring back Meg and have a White Stripes comeback out of nowhere.
