May I suggest Kristian Jorgensen, well-known in Scandinavia, but not overseas, though his elegant bebop deserves so.

wow thats pretty good. i play the jazz violin at my school.. soo uncommon its unbelievable. lol. but it really improves on the skills of the classical playing of the instrument.. im terrible at soloing.. and all the rest of the time my instrument is drained out by the horns.

I just recently learned about the jazz violin and I think it is amazing that you can play jazz violin at your school. I've been thinking about running the idea by my band director to see if he will let me play in jazz band with my violin.
