  • Thumbs up if you had already heard of MMJ without seeing American Dad.

  • Hey I was AT this show... I've been listening to these guys from day 1 and I gotta say they're still one of THE BEST live bands ever. THeir shows sound so dam good you'd think it's fake or something but they're just THAT good.

  • awesome!!!

  • First saw them supporting Love in London, maybe 2002... great band with a great sound, come back soon boys

  • Is there anyone who has mp3's from acoustic chorale?

This song, I know, is only okonokos double disc, BUT

Strangulation and Going to hell are not. If I've learned correctly, they're only available on vinyl, but I was hoping I was mis-informed or perhaps there are vinyl rips somewhere.

  • wow, ive been hearing about this band and have heard several songs and did not follow up in buying the albums.. but i bought the first three recently and have been blown away since playing this album first.

  • Nevermind, just listen to this, don't focus on comment.

  • i dont like this song

  • dzalian magaria, damangriaaa!!!!

  • am i the only one who thinks this is way better than what they have become

  • This song has a huge impact on my testicles.... :)

  • Thanks for posting these

  • Like Victor Hugo said about the primitive man, "He sings like he breaths".

  • Put those glow sticks away, children

  • Just perfect music from start to finish... If you don't have Okonokos- either the CD or DVD- just go out and get it already... one of the best albums/DVD's out there...

  • YIM YAMES MARRY ME PLEASE!?

  • Lyrics:

At dawn they ride again, they'll haul you out to the streets.

They'll burn your papers and your empty trash cans,

Beat this thought into your head, singin over and over again:

    "All your life is obscene!"

"Forget the papers, forget your musical dreams!"

But that's when my knife rises,

Their life ends and my life starts again!

  • damn

  • not made up

  • Glad you discovered the greatest American rock band since CCR by watching American Dad, but these guys have been around since I was in high school back in the late 90s. They have been flying under the radar because todays top music is based on pre-teen girls' radio requests.

This band is a MUST SEE live band. Jim James' voice literally causes the ground to shake.

  • @ivanjacome I guess people don't read sarcasm LOL

  • @ivanjacome i'm going to go ahead and either assume you're kidding or you're serious and you know how dumb that comment is. hopefully just kidding.

  • @ivanjacome i'm gonna go ahead and pretend you're just kidding with that statement.

  • Kings of Leon have NOTHING on these guys!!!

  • why i get up

  • Comment removed

  • On the Okonokos DVD I have this song is missing, What is the deal?

  • WHere was this recorded? Show dates or locale?

  • I'm not sure but I think this was off OKONOKOS. The concert was at the fillmore in San Francisco.

  • I agree, it sounds the exact same..I've heard it a hundred times :)

  • This is such an awesomely powerful song. This song is a big "fuck you" to anyone that tells you to give up on your dreams. Amen, Jim. Amen.

  • I wish I could remember the concert I went to, but, I was so into it, I can't remember it! No alcohol was involved either.

One of my favorite songs by them. Also, I want Jim's hair.

  • this was the song they opened with when i saw them in Minneapolis on Oct 2nd. Incredible.

  • Awesome.

  • wow hope they play this at MSG
