I have discovered Amalia through a PBS (Public Radio)....the announcer was telling how he, not knowing a word of Portuguese, upon hearing her voice...fell in love with it. Went to Lisbon on his 40th birthday just to learn more about Amalia and Portugal. He was right. This has become one of my favorite songs....and am learning a lot about Amalia through You Tube. The lyrics are very sensitive...got to google translator! Thanks Amalia for being with us...and for the technology today!
