Who Cares How Much Water It Has Buckeyes And People From Indiana Stay Off Of It Im Sick Of Trying To Fish In The Summer And Big 40 Footers From Ohio And Indiana Doing Laps Around My Jon And Bass Boat Trying To Knock Me Off When Im In A Cove And They Can Be Nice And Throttle Down!
i would like to see official reports showing the 8 bodies found, since you work at fishing and wildlife that wouldnt be too hard for you to show us :). I dont doubt the sunken boats, ive seen some, down the south fork on the east side. but 8 dead bodies?, i think not.
I have a boat at Alligator #1 and its moving down the lake to soon be Cave Springs (resort and marina)! The lake still has water cause i can still race my 38 foot Donzi speedboat! There is still 100 feet on the main lake! Lake Cumberland is the best!

I've seen people as far as 3 years ago getting in trouble for jumping off. Depth during the summer 2007 was down right dangerous. Depending on time of the year it was impossible to get a boat back through that cove. During 2006, I don't think the water was more than 20 feet or so measuring with the depth finder on the boat

I prefer Dale Hollow Lake further south in Tennessee (where my grandparents live). I drive right over Cumberland though on the way down.
