I used to work for one of these papers a couple of years back and the abuse I got from the public was just awful. Some were drunk, agressive or just mean. Some days I felt like quitting on the spot, but I needed the job. And I wasn't trying to force the paper onto anybody, just handing it out to the public.
I got attacked by the same mob around that same area recently. I was only selling flowers for a living but i cannot do this anymore because of scum like this.

It's their job, they need to earn a wage. You should get angry at Associated Papers, which owns London Lite and The Daily Mail, and News International, who own Thelondonpaper and The Sun. So these guys are irritating but it's not their fault you've already been offered the same paper 6 times that day.
