  • Hello.....My name is Eddie and I started a new vlog. I did jiu-jitsu

for about 2 years and then I had to stop for about a year and a half.

Now I'm getting back into it and I have a great team behind

me....Alliance Orlando!!! Our Instructor is Michael Langhi and if you

dont know he is a multiple time world champ and a super nice guy.

Come join me as I train and try to get better:) So please check out

my videos and if you like them...SUBSCRIBE! Thanks....I appreciate it :)

  • can somebody tell me why people call this PERUVIAN NECKTIE?

was it modified by TONY DE SOUZA the peruvian in UFC?

    is that the reason?

  • In class yesterday i was doing some stuff like arm bar and triangle from the back and thought it would be cool to try this from the back too, i got it but it was a little awkward, any tips? ive done some searching and havent found any videos or links explaining it, im not talking about back control like in the video but real back control - hooks in, arms tied up with rnc defense you know? be cool if ari replied.

  • Dobra, POLACY przejmujmy ten film!

    A technika ciekawa.

  • I m from Poland....

    Video is very very good

  • i pulled this off during my second day of BJJ! the thing is, i had no idea what it was, and when my opponent tapped, i was like "wait, what did i just do?" haha

  • Soo good. My buddy ans I can't afford jiu jitsu classes so we practice for hours on each other to your videos.. all in fun.

  • @TaberOHmyGod Find more friends and have them roll with you, if you only go against one person you only get so far

  • I really enjoy your videos man thankyou..simple and straight to the point..much love!

  • COLUMBIAN NECKTIE??? COMON I WASS EATING

  • Comment removed

  • @cooly227 LMAO

  • I was learning this at mma the other day its nasty! effective though, unfortunate for the person who is caught in it!

  • after 1:19 he should have pulled out his gun

  • Off Topic: Is anything that hurts the solar plexus illegal in BJJ? Because if you read most BJJ rules it says no pressure points and if you watch The Stake from submissions101 it hurts the solar plexus and also because theres this move i think i created cuz i've never seen it before its when you're from the mount n u put your knee on the opponent's solar plexus and pull his head up. Its so damn simple but i dont see any vids of it. So is pivoting your knee on the solar plexus illegal in BJJ?

  • @Twinky980 only those who arent comfortable with their sexuality

  • @Twinky980 smh twinky XD

  • showing it wrong to make it easier. brown belt taught it to me, the only part i remember right is that after u sprawl, u shoot the left foot(if u have the right arm) up to their knee, then sit back a lil, slide the left leg up to thigh, then back. but i forgot how to execute it lol

  • flying armbar + kimura + kneebar + triangle choke + arm triangle + rear naked choke + north-south choke + Achilles lock + ankle lock (russian sambo ankle lock) = WTF!? ULTRA MEGA SUPER LOCK OF DEATH!!!!

  • What hand grip is best for this?

  • @ElectricRonin Gable grip with the blade of the forearm upwards toward the persons throat.

  • Awesome videos! Do more like this!

  • @madhatter24463 I know and knew what a Columbian necktie is and if my memory serves me correctly the comment was a joke about why the Columbian necktie wasn't aloud in competitions.... Get a sense of humor fagg

  • i know submissions hurt, but it's annoying to me the guy in blue pants keeps tapping like 1 second after the hold is sunk in...c'mon bro, its a demonstration...you can handle being in the submission for a couple seconds...

  • @hobbesrules he probably can, but that's not the point. like you said, it's a demonstration. watching a guy gut out a submission for a couple seconds doesn't demonstrate anything, it just needlessly drags it out. one guy locks on the submission, the receiver indicates when he starts to feel it so everyone watching gets an idea of ideally how fast the submission should start to work, then they move on (either to repeat the technique or to the next lesson). that's a demonstration.

  • @TalbotAlligator Well said.

  • Great vid! We have a few videos on our website that tie in well with your stance on Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as well. ArsenalTraining. Check it out!

  • THE REAL CHOKE FROM PERU!!

  • Blood or Air Choke?

  • Looking good. We have some videos as well that deals with BJJ. Check us out.

  • is it a blood choke or neck crank?

  • @intactGB Both. If you train, just have someone put you in one and if they do it correctly (and this vid demonstrates it correctly), you will feel like your head is going to come off. It's a blood choke because it will put you to sleep, but as you can see from how quickly this guy taps, it also puts a tremendous amount of pressure on your neck.

  • @korysax8

    thanks

I haven't gotten to do it on anyone at my gym, but when I did it on my younger brother, he feels the crank before he gets a chance to feel the blood choke.

  • @intactGB

Both. Ive had it done on me and it works both ways.

  • I like to fake go for this move then jump on there back for a rear naked, works ever time.

  • I love tight peruvian neckties!

  • i love this move, get my buddies with it all the time. BJJ is a lot of fun.

  • 26 people tapped out to this.

  • thankyou submissions 101

  • The Zeitgeist Movement. Think you have your escapes down, can you escape the system?

  • Is this a choke or a crank?

  • @pinkfloyd105 choke, it feels pretty much like a triangle

  • Things I learned in class about the Peruvian necktie. To make sure they don't escape or change positions while you're trying to stand up. Turn so that you're outer knee is touching his thigh to lock him in. Then just step over his head with your close leg and make sure the crook of the knee is over his head. Then simple instead of falling back 45 degrees, try to fall at 90 degrees so that you're trying to land on the side of your knee, you're gonna shift a little. It's a lot tighter this way.

  • When i made it on training, partner said me it felt like i was pushing his head into his ass.

  • choke or crank! safe in training?

  • Is this considered a blood choke or an air choke?

  • I prefer the Colombian Necktie, but they won't let me do it in competitions for some strange reason...

  • @trivrock2k6 thumbs up if you looked up a colombian necktie after readind this comment :)

  • @tannerandjamestv I could show you :)

  • @tannerandjamestv ...not so much.

Thats when your throat is slit and your tongue is pulled out of the cut. It was used on numerous people and is not a funny joke. To trivrock2k6 and everyone else who gave a thumbs up to the comment... I can only hope that you or someone you love dearly gets to experience the Colombian necktie firsthand since it's so light-hearted and fun to joke about.

  • @tannerandjamestv It's in the Tekken games.

  • oahu is an idiot stop trying

  • Great Video, good tutorial

  • Sick submission!

  • My favorite submission

  • i just cant seem to get this right ... is there tips for better effects

  • @dbaks9110 Don't bother and learn easier submissions.

  • i do this with the S grip on the neck to choke more than cranking the bertebrae

  • @nahuelfantino

seems you'v ebeen choked out to much and suffer from severe brain damage

    its vertebrae, not bertebrae dude...

  • @intactGB maybe because i am argentinian, not american, sorry about my writing, though my lenguage is huge compared to english, so chill. I've been choked out unconcious 3 times, and i don't consider myself retarded.

  • @nahuelfantino

    I was messin wit u man, at least u know 2 languages : )

keep pressin forward bro, I'm sure you're decent

  • Cool, I end up in this position all the time so now I have a submission to try.

  • This move definently works you dumb pieces of shit

Iv tapped out purple belts with this move so go eata dick and stop talking about things you know nothing about

  • What stops the guy from rolling out of this? Tried this numerous times in training and my partner rolled out a lot

  • @briangorst1 I don't actually actively practise Jiu jitsu very much but my thoughts would to follow him if he rolls and use the momentum to gain a mounted arm in guillotine or the mount.

  • @briangorst1 The leg over the back stops your opponent from "somersaulting out"...if that is what you were thinking?

  • This submissions are getting me prepared

  • great demo i always wanted to learn this one

  • Im gonna try this the next time im rolling

  • I just like the name

  • My fave choke is the anaconda, but sometimes I cant lock my hand onto my bicep. THis happens when the guy is too wide or fat, i'll give this a go in that situation from now on. thanks

  • @drewjew1980 I prefer this over anaconda, my arms are very long and thin, and they give too much space when I attempt the anaconda, or any head/arm chokes in general.

  • interesting, I thought there were zero advantages of having short stumpy arms!

  • I find it funny when someone says that 10th planet moves won't work, like all techniques it requires drilling and time... And even more funny when they say the rubber guard and gogoplatas must be shit because eddie made them up. Haha Eddie didn't invent it, he just made a system to make it better and it's been proven that it works.

  • @ppurity, YEAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH RIGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHT

  • what kind of grip are you using when u complete the choke? i couldnt really see since they were under him.....

  • Sweeeeeet

  • have u ever thought of going in ufc

  • @MMASTUNNA671 All do respect--He's not even very accomplished in BJJ competition, and if you're going to get by on just one art, you've gotta be one of the best at that art to use it in MMA.

  • Worlds most painful teabag.

  • is this a choke or a crank?

  • @Xero555000 it says in the description that its a choke

  • cool submission

  • best move i love it

  • Nastyest move I've ever felt! I love it

  • nice move..

  • good tutorial but i would like to see other ways to get people into the submission not just a shute

  • Comment removed

  • that's so cool. checkout unicyclehoopster on youtube

  • fucking peruvian faggots sluts

  • @cabezadegato100 Are you retarded?

  • @Yieiuu are you a peruvian faggot slut?

  • Awesome but hard to get on a seasoned guy

  • thats not nice

  • thanks for the tip you sent to me. You do have a good point and I since have decided to continue my quest on bettering my grappling. I was doing this wrong for years but ur right, everyone has their own variations. I was getting them in an anaconda choke, but before rolling (like the anaconda) I would sprawl and hop into the necktie. Also, at the end, I would flip my opposing leg over and pull back. now I call it a hog tie in my class, cus its dirty and I had it wrong for so long. man...wtf....

  • This move seems better than my Guatemalan Scarf

  • AMERICANS YOU KNOW WHAT IS GOOD. AND THIS LETHAL WEAPON KICK ASSES IN EMERGENCY SITUATIONS. YOU CAN DO IT TO OSAMA BIN FAGGOT. AND HE WILL BE SLEEPING ALLNIGHT. SWEET DREAMS OSAMA.

  • @submissions101 do those puzzle mats work well? I was considering buying them for home training, thanks!

  • @ShaneSawMma We have the puzzle mats at my gym and they work great for everything except high throws can hurt if your not careful.

  • This is my favorite submission. Thumbs up if it's yours too!

  • @Zeferak Sorry m8.. Mines the triangle!

  • awesome vids.

  • Remember kids, don't try this at home unless under proper supervision, and even then don't try it.

  • what is so different between bjj and 10th planet? Why should I start training 10th planet istead of bjj? take care

  • @Shotokan50 hmm.. alot of the 10th Palnet moves against a good bjj practioner wont work.. or harder to work on. I tried rubber gaurd against a great purple belt and he just lifted out of it. Yesterday a guy tried a gogoplata on me and I even let him sink it in and I just broke through it.

  • i searched it because i just finished watching UFN silva vs irvin, dollaway vs taylor and it was BEAUTIFUL

  • Is this supposed to put pressure directly on the trachea, or is it putting pressure on the carotid arteries? I always thought that I wasn't allowed to put pressure directly on the trachea because it's so dangerous.

  • Tony desouza is amazing! My jiu jitsu trainer is a close friend if Tony desouza and there's a video on YouTube of the doing bjj...id u want to see tell me because i forgot the ñame of the vid :D viva el Perú krjo!!

  • Is this considered a neck crank, or is it a choke. You might not be able to use this in a competition, but as a self defense move against a single person it would be nice

  • @explosiveInc CB dollaway used this against jesse taylor in the ufc so i think its classed as a choke

  • @MegaRaidersfan i wanted to see how it is done more clearly because of that

  • The other day I tried this move on my friend while we were rolling. I set it up like you guys did here except that I was leaning a little bit more to the side, i locked it in, swung my leg over, and threw my weight back, he tapped almost immediately, but he said he tapped because of pain, saying that he felt a lost of pressure on the back of his neck like it was going to snap. Isn't it supposed to be a choke? do you guys know what I did wrong? I don't an accident to happen next time.

  • PERUVIAN TONY DESOUZA IS A FUCKING AMAZING FIGHTER. ARRIBA EL PERU!

  • How do you do a pearl necklace :)

  • If you try this move and miss, you still have an arm triangle.

  • can'y wait too try it out

  • I love this submission im thinking about transfering from tae kwon do to brazilian jiu jitsu I have tournament coming up is there some sort of stragey i should do to set this submission up.

  • @954djmike

This submission works well...because no one expects it. from my experience the position you want to be in to try this is when they basically have their head in their arms trying to prevent an anaconda or another choke.

  • @954djmike Just start taking BJJ classes. You'll get the answer to your question there. Get your fundamentals down first. These videos are cool because they give you some good single techniques you can try but it takes a lot of sweat and tap outs in training to be able to pull this off in a tournament. Add BJJ period. If you want to transfer start training in Muay Thai.

  • Is this something you do after you sprawl trying to stop a take down (single, double leg, etc)?

  • @agentbobbarker 0:35-0:39. You tell us.

  • thumbs up for SUBMISSION101 ....

  • could you perhaps, just for fun dow a video of an inverted triangle choke

  • dude i ve been doing this wrong this entire time. i feel like a complete fool now. man, whats gonna happen when I tell all of my students that i need to "change" my technique around. idk how to say this but. i think this is it, this was the last straw....

  • @buttholeBANGER31flav just say "this is another variation"

  • The nastiet choke thing in grappling.

  • not fun to be in. lol

  • Nicely illustrated. I like how you cover it from every angle; very thorough. May i ask where this technique derived from or got it's name? Considering it's called "Peruvian necktie".

  • @archimenes its called the peruvian necktie because tony desousa who is a an mma fighter from peru made it up

  • When i did amatuer fights, I caught cameron dollor in one of these, good memories

  • pretty much a complicated guilitine lol

  • NOGI is like bjj only with shorts and stuff. GI's are when bjj is used with things like karate uniforms

  • hardest choke in my opinion, sinks in instantly, and soo fucking deep, great technique

  • Keep up the excellent videos!

  • Bjj is so much better than mma

  • @wickedjitsu1 Bjj is part of mma soooooooo um ya ;)

  • @TheNoseJR i think i would kno considering i train bjj, but my point being is that jiu jitsu is more fun to train than traditional mma. soooooooooooo um ya ;) douche

  • @wickedjitsu1 traditional mma? really? and dont talk i train bjj, mma, and ive been kick boxing since i was 9. And that isnt what you said you said bjj is better than mma, not that its more fun to train. Also everyone has there opinions.

  • any ju-juistu places in Worcester ma?

  • this submission is NASTY. Doesnt take long to pass someone out.

  • dumb question i know wat BJJ is of course but what does it mean when ppl say NOGI grappling or whatever

  • @badsssssss I'm pretty new to this too but I assume NOGI means "no Gi". Meaning grappling without the karate suit (Gi). I may be completely wrong

  • @BermudaAF7 your correct big guy, karate suit is funny

  • @BermudaAF7 You're not wrong.

  • I just watched this move last night and pulled it off just today! This move is awesome!

  • Thanks for these videos. Very instructive. *Subscribe *

  • Do you do the opposite if it is with a Gi?

  • this is crank or a choke ?

  • Great counter to the turtle!

  • is this possible to pull off in an mma math?

  • @outdoorsman715 yes it is, Ive seen it done in a ufc match or two.

I like this move a lot. actually, I like any choke that comes from the sprawl because theres a lot of good wrestlers where I live...so I gotta do something since I didnt do wrestling myself.

  • @outdoorsman715

Look up CB Dollaway vs Jesse Taylor at Fight Night 14.

  • @tehd0minator good fight and finish, thanks

  • Thank you, Submissions 101!!!!!! you guys rock!!!

  • I frikken love youtube. i've learned alot from these videos, (not saying im some pro or anything..) i've learned the triangle choke, kimura (the proper way, i never knew about connecting my hand to my wrist) from side control, open guard, ETC. peruvian necktie, gogoplata, omoplata, armbar from open guard, scissor sweep, ghillotine, hip toss, knee bar, heel hook, achilles ankle lock, and im still learning.

  • I really cant manage this one, dont know why i just dont get it.

im trying to get really good at grapplin,

im Sixteen, but i wanna get into the fighting game. I was a boxer, but quit to start MMA

  • I bet you like it when he puts his head close to your cock.

  • @hahaha

  • a columbian nectie works better

  • how do u escape that shit?

like rollin over and turn to ur opponent or sumthin like that?

  • Thanks for everything guys u guys rock i self teach but if theres something i dont get i immediately come to watch u guys for stuff

  • good instructor, i used the banna, and this move last week. both work great

  • i learned this one in jujitsu today!

  • Awesome video, thanks for that!

  • "Peruvian necktie"; well... so I HAVE to learn this one as I am from Perú!

  • Hey there, I do Judo and I would really like to use this for my Newaza, accept in Judo you can't crank the neck.

Would this work the same as a choke without the crank? if instead I lean forward after falling down for the tie? I wouldn't ask if I had someone at home to try it on lol

  • Comment removed

  • really? That's interesting man cuz i've been put into a peruvian neck-tie and i felt my blood circulation being cut off immediatly, and vice versa I accidently choked my friend out with this, he didnt even have time to tap, it took about 3 seconds. I think the peruvian neck-tie is one of the best chokes regarding how quickly the pressure is applied. Maybe your technique needs a little work or maybe not, just my tucents no hate

  • i don't know why so many people are saying this is a crank?? To me it's the strongest and fastest coke available that makes people gargle their own saliva instantly.....

maybe i'm the one who's doing it wrong and everyone else is doing it right... if that's the case im glad cuz it works awesomely for a choke...

ill put a video up and message you a link one day!!

  • lmao @ hardest, fastest coke.

    CHOKE i meant

  • @jthetrackr LOL!!

I bet the hardest fastest coke would also make people gargle their own saliva instantly.

  • lmaoo lmaooo yea that shit made me laugh too when I read it, the way I chose to use the word "available" too hahaha

  • could somebody please tell me how you Advance towards Black belt in Jui-Jitsu. that would be awesome. I took Karate and the way i got my Belt was i completed My punch and Legmovements and got a Belt upgrade

  • Advancing in BJJ is based on a lot of things but there are no set movements to learn (katas) to advance. Advancement is based on time, commitment, skill, and performance in competition... Advancing in BJJ is much harder and takes much more time than in Karate (Unless you're at a McBJJ gym...)
