i was at this gig and the reason it had to be edited with footage from the 1st Slane gig was that the person who thought it was a good idea to bring a big stupid inflatable heineken bottle was getting in the way. It promted Bono to shout 'get rid of the fucking heineken bottle' during the song which was also edited out..and the bottle quickly vanished.

I love watching Edge play the solos to this crowd.  I love the passion and joy and optimism U2 brings to rock, the air here is just electric with it. There are literally 100,000 people packed into this field, listening to every pick stroke, every skillful, precise movement Edge's brain tells his hand to make. It's infectious.
