Why is the nucleon a better glider than a k2? What features does it have that make it easier to learn on or safer? Have you flown both gliders to make a fair comparison? I don't know much about the nucleon but a lot of people are talking about it. Seems both good and bad. I would appreciate hearing back from you. Thanks

@3178870 Hi, Well for starters the Nucleon is a certified glider where as the K2 is not, You can contact Sky Paragliders & confirm that since they are the manufacture & do NOT recommend the K2 for PPG. Some great features of reflex wings are that they do not over fly you & collapse, They are very slow & very fast depending what mode you have the set in, and are also very stable in rough air! I have flown both wings so can make a good comparison between the 2. The Nucleon is by far the best.

Hey Ryan be great if you could do that I love watching tests gives me more confidence to know where the collapse points are, although nothing like testing and feeling yourself. Hey check out our new forum and club. I just finished the logo:)

You didnt bump into a K2 Cima and a Flat Top did you? you wouldn't have seen it as would have been so fast, as is the fastest wing in the world oh and Auto Stable !but you might have heard the noise would have sounded like spew comig out of someones mouth! Oh he now has attacked the Nucleon.

@Galvoflysoz Thanks :).. K2, what's that? Was it those orange jelly fish that i blew past at 50 MPH on my Dudek Plasma? They where floating around the LZ giving everyone a headache, That thing you called a Flat Top is killer loud! man i feel sorry for anyone who has to put up with that noise, I guess after flying it for 3 hours you would be deaf anyway so it wouldn't matter, Just the poor people on the ground in a 40 mile radius would suffer LOL.

@paradrenalin I know he keeps waking me up when he flys,And im in Australia:) everyone i have spoken to loves the nucleon. have you seen the Nucleon Test where they attach the A's to a foot stirrup to induce a collapse? pretty impressive and very good recovery. Dell is off this planet.

@Galvoflysoz LOL.. Yea i have seen that video, Im going to have to make some myself and see how they come out, ill do it on my Plasma as well. The Nucleon is an awesome wing, all of my students are now flying Nucleons and love them!
