i got bored of this game... after 600 hours lol

though i do jump back in every once in a while. very well made game, and very well formed online multiplayer, the best on the wii no doubt. looking forward to a sequel :)

@shevie999 Make sure your Wii is connected to the internet after thats done go and start up the game and load up your hunter and go to the city. Hope this helps you.

@shevie999 oh long story, but imma tell. First of you need wifi you find out how to get that in the instructions manual that was in the wii when you bough it. Then when you has started the game you chose your file and character and all that stuff. Then when you comes to the place when you can choose between city or town i think, then you choose city and select a server then gate and then a party

capcom are so dumb they gave lost planet's monster hunter skin exclusive to ps3 when it doesnt even have a monster hunter game on it.

they might have gone for a larger install base but they didnt do the franchise any justice and backstabbed their sony fanbase.

if ps3 was really that hard to develop for, why did you make resident evil, lost planet etc for ps3?

I think it's the A.I. of the monsters that prove extremely difficult for the developers. If you think about it, the monsters in Monster Hunter have some of the most complicated A.I. There are so many variables that other games haven't been able to match.

But I'm with you in how I feel backstabbed. I played MH on the ps2 and the psp and then they go switch the game to the Wii.

@fpsd0minat0r Capcom is a multi format company... they aren't in favor of any console, so they didn't backstab Sony. Infact, I played Tri without playing the PSP versions, and now I am going to buy a PSP for Unite, so I guess if there's more people like me they did good for Sony.

@1littlerandomrebel Not really... the MH series was almost exclusively for Sony till recently. Tri was going to be released on the PS3 however near the end of production they shifted over to Wii due to sales. They're just trying to make money where they can. To be honest I would have preferred this on the PS3 over the Wii.. however it just didn't turn out that way.

gotta say the only things that sucked in this game are the font size and the fact that if you hit a monster in a non armored spot your weapon still has a chance of bouncing off.

yes. best online system for wii. no friend code. Can talk to anybody. Easy with usb keyboard but you gotta be friends to use wiispeak. All dedicated capcom servers, and hardly any lag. lots of people online to.
