  • Hmm. Some of these gags I just saw the nigh before from watching some of Buster Keaton's films from 1921-1925. That means that in 1949 these gags had "whiskers" on them: i.e old and worn out. Hence why TV took over at the same with people like Milton Berle and Sid Ceasar. Well, at least these guys stole from the best.

  • 2- from what ive seen its clear Red Skelton was heavily influenced by Vaudeville.
