the end of the book was wayyy better!!! how she sacrificed her life for her friend and in the end she finds out that she actually saved her aunt!! loved it!!

at the very end of the movie at school i laughed my socks off while every1 was getting emotional .... and to make matters worse i made puns throughout the whole movie but I called them JOOKES

I just finished watching this movie, & I cried like a baby, how could the nazi's be so cruel, I know this account was fiction, but pretty much the same things happened in real life, but in many cases much worse than this movie depicts. the suffering of the people at the camps, jews, gypsies, political prisoners and many others, was something many of us can't fathom. WHY is there such hate and evil?

how can humans do this to other humans with no remorse?

@MsStormcrow what also pisses me off are the people who insult the victims of the holocaust by claiming they were there just to get fame and money. i personally believe that elie wiesel (author of night and nobel peace prize winner) is one of these ppl. i cant know for sure, but video footage shows that he doesnt have a tattoo and there is no record of him in auschwitz or any other camp.

@MsStormcrow furthermore, myklos grunner, a real holocaust victim says that the tattoo number elie wiesel claimed to be his actually belonged to his 30 year old friend lazar wiesel. grunner was also in the photo that elie claims to be in. he claims that there was no wiesel in the photo.

@MsStormcrow also, elie claims he was 17 in the photo. if you compare that photo to a photo of him when he was 15, the facial structure is nothing alike. even though the face is emaciated, thats not going to change the structure of your eyebrows, nose, and lips. and on top of that the man in the photo is clearly in his 20s-30s. even thought what happened to them made them look much older, you can still tell its not a teenager. he also gets his historical facts wrong.
